Hans-Joachim Watzke, CEO of Borussia Dortmund, is confident that Erling Haaland will stay with the club this summer.
There has been intense speculation recently about the forward’s future, with Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola and father Alfie holding talks with Real Madrid and Barcelona ahead of a possible £ 145 million transfer.
However, Watzke insists Dortmund has no plans to sell the 20-year-old this summer.

Watzke told target: ‘We don’t have a parallel plan. We will discuss this in peace with Erling, his father and his agent Mino Raiola. We also want him to stay with us to score goals for BVB next year with conviction. There is no alternative plan. ‘
Haaland is in high demand because he has made a huge impact for Dortmund since coming over from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.

Raiola was eager to reject suggestions he’d negotiated a £ 17m out of a £ 154m deal for a transfer involving Haaland.
There are suggestions that Raiola will hold talks with other clubs, including Premier League teams Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.
