Nick Candy got a boost when shares in the podcast publisher in which he is the biggest investor hit their highest level in almost two years, writes Samuel Norman.
The real estate magnate is Audioboom’s largest shareholder.
Shares in the London-listed company rose 7.7 per cent, or 31 pence, to 436 pence yesterday, lifting the value of Candy’s 14.2 per cent stake by around £600,000 to more than £10 millions.
The rebound came after Audioboom, whose shows cover everything from sports to true crime, recorded a 13 per cent rise in annual revenue to £60m.
The company made a profit of £2.8 million after making a loss of £300,000 in 2023.
Chief executive Stuart Last said yesterday: “2025 will be a record year for Audioboom.”
