Bonnie Anderson reveals the REAL reason she left Neighbors – while admitting she has ‘so much more in the pipeline’
It’s been three and a half years since singer Bonnie Anderson made her acting debut as Bea Nilsson on Neighbors.
And in an interview with TV week On Monday, the 26-year-old revealed the real reason why she decided to quit the long-running soap.
‘I felt it was my time. After all these years, I had learned so much and got to the point where I could take everything on board and fly elsewhere, ”she said.

“Neighbors were an incredible training ground and I will be forever grateful for all the lessons I learned there,” she continued.
Bonnie said her first move after Buren “will keep herself extremely busy.”
‘More music, more acting … there is so much in the pipeline. I have so many ideas – and always like a challenge, ‘she said.
Further on: ‘I felt it was my time. After all these years I had learned so much and reached a point where I could take everything on board and fly elsewhere, ” she told TV Week.
Bonnie said she would “absolutely” consider returning to Neighbors in the future should the right opportunity arise.
“It would be special to return and be reunited with everyone on and off the screen,” she said.
Her final episode will air in Australia in the coming weeks, but will not air in the UK for the next few months.

Bonnie joined the soap in 2018, playing the half-sister of Jodi Gordon’s character Elly Conway.
She rose to fame as the winner of Australia’s Got Talent in 2007, after which she was away from the music scene for a few years before re-emerging in 2014, at the age of 19.
“Getting into the spotlight at such a young age can be difficult, so for me it was important to just take my time,” she previously told Daily Mail Australia.
