Bondi woman with ‘signature bum bag’ accused of horrific attack on female police officer – kicking, choking, biting and pulling hair

A woman with a ‘signature belt bag’ has been accused of kicking, choking and biting a female police officer after a series of alleged assaults.
The 34-year-old was spotted by an off-duty officer at a shopping center on Bondi Junction’s Spring Street on Tuesday at approximately 5:30 p.m. after police began investigating reports of random attacks in the area.
The police officer attempted to arrest the woman and was reportedly kicked, choked, bit in the arm, punched in the face and hair pulled from her scalp.

The senior officer was assisted by members of the public, who were then reportedly scratched and bitten by the woman.
Other local police officers arrived at the Spring Street mall and were able to keep the woman under control.
The woman was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station.
She was charged with five counts of common assault, two counts of assault resulting in actual physical injury, destroying or damaging property, assaulting a police officer in the performance of her duty and physically injuring a police officer, opposing or hindering a police officer in carrying out their task, and mistreatment of a person assisting officer.
The woman has been denied bail and will appear in Waverley court on Wednesday.
The off duty officer and members of the public were handled by paramedics.
