Evansville officers are seen here pulling down the green Islamic State flag which she admitted to setting up outside a Spectrum cable store
Authorities say they first received a call from someone at the Spectrum cable store just after 9:45 p.m. Sunday.
“The advised grass called was on fire about six to 10 feet from the building,” Officer Ed Kitzinger wrote in an affidavit obtained by the Evansville Mail and Press. “Firefighters were already on scene and the fire had been extinguished.”
At 9:52 p.m., body cameras worn by police showed an officer approaching the scene, where Malloy was already handcuffed and a green flag could be seen waving from the top of a flag pole.
Officers removed her belongings, as she told them, “You were hit by terrorists at the worst time.”
Malloy continued to hurl a flurry of homophobic insults and slurs at officers in the heavily censored video as officers behind her pulled down the green flag.
At that point, she threatened to “cut your fucking heads off”.
‘My head?’ asks an officer.
“Yeah, he’ll cut your head off,” Malloy replies. “You don’t know who I am, do you?” You will find out who I am.
One of the officers then asked Malloy if she was following Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein, to which Malloy replied, “Maybe I am.” Happy September 11.’
“Yeah, you got hit by terrorists at the worst time, you don’t know that yet,” she continued. “Indeed, pay attention to what I say to you boys.
She then accused the officers of having “kids under these government buildings, f***** abusing them, drinking their blood.”
She also said they were “selling my kids to pedophiles,” all of which are apparent Q-Anon conspiracy theories.
Malloy continued to curse the officers, when the officer whose camera was recording approached the green flag, now on the ground.
‘What is this?’ He asked.
“An Islamic flag,” replied his colleague.
“Oh, is that an Islamic State flag?” ” he precised.
“Yeah, it’s ISIS,” another off-screen officer was heard saying.
“Yeah, that’s right, I’m ISIS, indeed,” Malloy admits, to which the officer whose body camera is recording simply says, “huh.”
