A body positivity influencer revealed the harsh and “incredibly stressful” truth about running her bikini business Moana Bikini on Saturday.

Karina Irby took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes images from her latest photo shoot as she revealed what it was really like to own her own business.

The fashion designer said that after 10 years of running the business, she sometimes needs to take a sleeping pill just to rest, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I started my company over 10 years ago and I have never regretted it. I get to do this every day! Work,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself posing with one of her models.

‘Don’t get me wrong… It’s incredibly stressful, non-stop, and some nights I need a sleeping pill just to stop my brain from thinking.

‘But I also get to work alongside the most amazing people who share the same passion as me.

“It’s about creating a space where women can feel comfortable not only in their skin, but also in a community that understands and supports them.”

Karina went on to say that her most recent studio shoot to promote the latest in her colorful bikini line was a “perfect reminder” of how “lucky” she is.

“I may not have all the answers and there will definitely be challenges along the way, but I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything,” he continued.

‘I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in women’s lives, even in the smallest ways.

“Here’s to many more years of hard work, passion and building a supportive community for women everywhere. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

She also included some videos of herself dancing with her employees and enjoying a very delicious looking charcuterie board with them at lunchtime.

Finally, Karina shared a group photo in which she is seen posing with the ‘crazy group of people’ that make up her team in Moana.

This comes after Karina slammed internet trolls who made derogatory comments about her online personality.

The body-conscious influencer took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share a lengthy rant about online “judgment.”

Facing a photo of herself next to a body of water, Karina revealed that she “came across this string of really nasty, judgmental comments about me last night.”

The owner of popular swimwear brand Moana Bikini, who often produces content in skimpy bikinis and underwear, has complained about the negative reactions she receives online.

“The Internet sucks. People suck. I know I’ve let people down in the past, but I always try to do the best I can, both for myself and for others,” she wrote.

The Gold Coast-based influencer went on to say that “putting her life online” is one of the hardest things she has ever done.

Posting online, Karina suggested, is not good for her health, but she still persists.

“The constant criticism, attacks and intimidation I have endured here is truly heartbreaking,” she wrote.

Karina ended her long speech to her 1.1 million followers with a message of mindfulness and consideration.

‘People need to practice being more open-minded. If someone acts a certain way or does something you don’t agree with, think about WHY they did it.

“Be kind. You never know what someone has been through or is going through,” the bikini-clad model concluded.
