A body language expert has claimed Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s displays of affection at the US Open looked like an attempt to “prove their passion to the world” amid rumours their relationship is a PR stunt.
There is speculation that the pop star and athlete, both 34, had faked their romance to boost their careers after an alleged “contract” discussing a break-up plan circulated online last week.
Days after the document, which Travis’ reps called “completely false and fabricated,” hit the Internet, the couple seemed completely unfazed as they attended the US Open in New York City together and put on a very PDA-filled display in front of the cameras.
Now, UK-based body language expert Judi James has analysed their interactions exclusively for DailyMail.com and said the singer and NFL star appeared to be trying to portray “a very idealistic, dreamy version of being in love” based on their poses.
“When trying to debunk rumors about a ‘fake romance,’ the most effective and convincing way is to take them as a joke. Ignore them,” he said.

‘They should be a relief for a couple in love, but for a high-profile, A-list power couple, whose relationship is a meeting of brands as well as minds and hearts, it will be tempting to perform the dreadful and defiant ritual of “denial” that involves proving to the world that their emotions have not been forged in some PR agency’s office.
‘Taylor and Travis appear to have taken the “human emoji” route to demonstrate their passion to the world by striking a series of poses here that emphatically define a very idealistic and dreamy version of being in love.’
The two stars were seen hugging and kissing throughout the sporting event and were also captured dancing together to The Darkness’ hit song I Believe in a Thing Called Love.
Judi added, however, that while they may have been a little more affectionate with him to quell rumors, it still seemed like their romantic embraces were genuine.
She noted that Taylor often “goes all out” and has “never” been “shy” in front of the cameras when it comes to showing her love for Travis.
“If it were anyone other than the ever-enthusiastic Taylor, these might seem like over-the-top rituals,” he continued.
‘But she and Travis have never been afraid of the cameras since they got together, nor have they been discreet in their public displays of affection, which must be kept in mind when dealing with any accusations of inauthenticity.
‘Taylor is a woman who adorably gives herself to everything with total commitment and effort, cosplay style.’

Judi insisted Taylor’s body language at the US Open was that of a “swooning” bride.
“Her body language shows her almost swooning with romantic love as she stands with Travis’ arm around her waist and her face towards the crowd and cameras, placing her hand on top of his in a gesture of support as she leans her head back on his chest with a dreamy smile,” the expert commented.
‘He even lifts one arm to uncover her armpit and underarm while caressing her neck.
‘At one point, she tugs on his cardigan to flirtatiously get his attention and tenderly touches his face to give him a romantic kiss on the lips.
‘She does all of this standing up and in full view, as does her enthusiastic singing that includes playful slaps on Travis’s chest to encourage him to join in.’
She also noted that even the pop star’s outfit (a red plaid dress, which she paired with a heart-shaped ring) suggests she is “totally in love with her man.”
The document, which was first posted on Reddit, outlined a detailed plan to release an official statement about their breakup on Sept. 28, and was written by what appeared to be the tight end’s PR firm, Full Scope.
After it was spread online, a Full Scope spokesperson insisted it was “completely false and fabricated and was not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”
The representative also said they had called in lawyers to try to figure out who forged it, although they are not expected to find the culprit.
He said the pop star and soccer star appeared to be trying to portray “a very idealistic and dreamy version of being in love” based on their poses.
Judi added, however, that while they may have shown a little more affection in public to quell the rumors, it still seemed like their romantic embraces were genuine.

“We have mobilized our legal team to initiate proceedings against the persons or entities responsible for the illicit and harmful falsification of documents,” they said.
A source told DailyMail.com later that Taylor and Travis weren’t bothered by it and, in fact, We were planning something “super special” on the date listed as their “separation.”
“Her body language shows her almost swooning with romantic love while she’s with Travis,” the expert said.
“Taylor wasn’t bothered and had a lot of fun,” a source said. “She doesn’t normally pay attention to these things, but this was a really fun AI reality show.”
‘He doesn’t even deserve a real reaction from her or her team. She and Travis had a good laugh about it and their group only got the lawyers involved because their PR firm was listed on the document.
‘After learning that their “breakup date” is coming up very soon on September 28th, they now need to plan something super special and fun for that day to commemorate it.
‘Coincidentally, September 28th is the first NFL game of the season and is also National Beer Drinking Day, so it’s definitely a great date night.’
In addition to the US Open date, Taylor and Travis have been photographed on a number of romantic nights out recently.
They were spotted having dinner together at a New York City pizzeria on Friday and attended model Karen Elson’s wedding a day later.
The “Cruel Summer” singer also cheered on her boyfriend at the Kansas City Chiefs’ home opener on Sept. 5.
She later reportedly surprised Travis with high-end gifts worth $42,000 to celebrate the start of the NFL season.
