The suspect’s glamorous sister who was arrested for the murder of Cash App founder Bob Lee is said to have introduced the pair – and owns property near where Lee was stabbed, and in the suburb where he lived with his family before moving to Miami last year.
Nima Momeni, 38, was arrested yesterday on charges of killing me. Police have not yet released their evidence against him, but said in a press conference that the two knew each other.
San Francisco Chronicle Reports indicate that Lee has recently become acquainted with Khazar Mumini’s sister Nima, who is the glamorous wife of a prominent local plastic surgeon.
Yesterday, the police searched an apartment she owned in a luxury building a few streets away from the scene of the April 4 stabbing.
DailyMail.com can also reveal that she also has properties in Mill Valley, a San Francisco bayside suburb where Lee used to live with his family.
Khazar’s home is 4.5 miles from the property that Bob shared with his father until they moved to Miami in October last year.

On April 4, Lee was caught on security cameras crashing into an apartment building in downtown San Francisco at 2.35am after being stabbed. Yesterday, the police searched the Khazar apartment next to Momeni’s sister. It is unclear if they were together or in the apartment earlier in the night
Police say that Momeni and Lee were driving Momeni’s car moments earlier.
They said it was a fight that led to the stabbing, and Lee tried to run for safety.
It is unclear where they were earlier in the night – the stabbing occurred around 2.30am.
Lee, a 43-year-old father of two, was only in San Francisco for a tech conference.
He had moved from Mill Valley, a private suburb where Khazar and her husband also own a home, to Miami in October last year.
In a joint statement released after Momeni’s arrest last night, Lee’s father, Rick, his brother Tim, and his ex-wife Krista said: ‘As a family, we are very grateful to the hard-working PSDP detectives for bringing his killer to justice.
Our next steps will be to work with the Attorney General’s office to ensure that this person is not allowed to harm anyone else or to walk free.
They described Bob as a loving son, brother, and father who has “positively impacted millions of people throughout his life.”
From his humble midwestern upbringing, he got his start programming and creating web pages for the small business that bordered our parents’ own shop.

Lee reportedly met Momeni through his Khazar sister, whom he also met recently, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. She appears with her husband, a prominent local plastic surgeon

Many people may not know that, in the early days of technology, one of the first computer viruses, Code Red, shut down the world.
Young Bob devised the solution without pay and then offered it to the world for free.
The family said, “This is Bob.”
Neither Momeni nor his sister have made any form of statement since his arrest.
The police searched her belongings as well as the apartment where Momeni was arrested yesterday.
Neighbors told DailyMail.com that he was “warm and welcoming” and that they were stunned by his arrest.
However, questions have been raised about his background.
Online, he claims to be a graduate of UC Berkeley, but the school says it has no record of him attending classes.

The 38-year-old lived alone in this building. He is scheduled to appear in court later this afternoon
He has also described himself as an entrepreneur and start-up founder, but is believed to be the only employee of the IT services company he claims to run.
Yesterday, the police refused to share the evidence in their possession that led to Moumini’s arrest.
But they – and local officials including Mayor London Breed and DA Brooke Jenkins – seemed to gloat over the fact that Lee’s killing was not random.
His murder was invoked by many as the latest evidence of San Francisco’s crime problem.
On April 5, Elon Musk tweeted: “Many people I know have been severely assaulted.
Violent crime in Florida is a horrific crime, and even if the attackers are caught, they are often immediately released.
“Is the city taking stronger action to imprison repeat violent offenders?”

Those responsible – including Mayor London Breed and DA Brooke Jenkins – seem to be gleefully rejoicing at the fact that Lee’s killing was not random.

Elon Musk was among those who criticized SF officials after Lee’s death. The city has a rising crime problem
Yesterday, Brock Jenkins slammed his tweet as “reckless.”
Since this incident happened, ever since waking up to Elon Musk’s tweet, my office has worked hard to actually tell people not to make assumptions about this case.
“We did not know anything about the facts of this case as soon as it happened,” she said.
Momeni is expected to stand trial today.
Jenkins promised yesterday not to seek bail and to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.
