Universal Boosts Atomic Monster and Blumhouse’s Latest Feature, Night swimming. The film now hits theaters on January 5, up from its January 19 date.
Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon star in writer-director Bryce McGuire’s film.
Universal will release the horror photo based on the short film created by McGuire and Rod Blackhurst. Details are kept secret, but Night swimming is described as a supernatural thriller built around the hidden source of terror in an iconic backyard pool.
Atomic Monster and Blumhouse, who continued together M3GANproduce Night swimming for Universal Pictures. James Wan and Jason Blum share producer credits. Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear and Judson Scott and Blumhouse’s Ryan Turek serve as executive producers. And Alayna Glasthal will be supervising the film for Atomic Monster.
The January 2024 release calendar is relatively open, with the biggest release for that date being the Marvel movie El Murtoa Spider-Man spin-off starring Bad Bunny, out January 12. The Paramount animation will also be released that month The Tigger’s ApprenticeBased on the children’s book of the same name.
