Australia’s most glamorous WAG may have to get used to life in what she has described as “boring” Adelaide, with her soccer star boyfriend staying in South Australia through 2025 and beyond.

St Kilda had sounded out Port Adelaide ruck Ivan Soldo during the AFL draft period, which ends on Wednesday.

That was music to the ears of teammate Chelsea Becirevic, who had previously said Adelaide had “been a struggle for me” and she couldn’t see herself living there permanently.

The influencer, who had followed Soldo from Richmond to Power, even took the extreme step of leaving Adelaide without her partner to work for an airline in Dubai.

‘Temporarily (Adelaide) is fine. But long term, I think Melbourne or the Gold Coast are for me… maybe even Syd,” he told his social media followers.

Fortunately for Soldo, Becirevic quickly packed up his airline job and the couple reconnected on the Gold Coast.

Becirevic then told his supporters he was fighting in Adelaide, prompting Soldo to request a move to St Kilda, but this now appears to have failed.

There appeared to be light at the end of the tunnel for the long-suffering Becirevic when the Saints became interested in Soldo as a backup to beat Rowan Marshall for 2025 and a return to Melbourne looked imminent.

However, Nine’s Tom Morris has reported that the deal will not go through as the Saints object to Soldo’s questionable injury history.

St Kilda are taking a more cautious approach to roster management after a series of player signings were blighted by injuries.

Most notable was the recruitment of Sydney Swans superstar Dan Hannebery, who was paid a whopping $800,000 per season for playing just 18 games in four years.

Soldo, 28, has a history of knee problems but reportedly did not undergo a medical in St Kilda.

It now appears that Soldo will see out the remainder of his contract at Port Adelaide which expires in 2026.

At the same event, former premier and Hawthorn boss Jeff Kennett was criticized for calling a woman a “rude little bitch” while giving a keynote speech.

Young Liberals president Dean Dell’Orso was forced to intervene and several people in the room called for Kennett to be removed from the event.

“With all due respect to Mr. Kennett, I want to deeply apologize to my friend at the top table,” he said.

‘I am against political correctness but we want to change the culture in the Liberal Party.

‘We want to do politics in a different way. “I want everyone to feel safe and respected in this room.”

Kennett has since apologized.

“I apologize deeply,” he said..

“I’m not going to try to make excuses, but you can understand that it was in response to something that happened and I felt very disappointed.”
