MANILA, Philippines-Al Toyogon scored a majority decision over Rimar Metuda on Saturday night during Manny Pacquiao Presents: Blow-by-Blow at Narvacan Gymnasium in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.
Toyogon, 25, won the Philippine Boxing Federation belt and improved to 14-8-2 with nine knockouts.
Representing Vigan’s Elorde Boxing, Toyogon, originally from Misamis Oriental, did not disappoint the “local” crowd with his win, marking the first time the weekly TV show had staged a fight in the north.
