Diablo Games general manager Rod Ferguson has revealed that two expansions are in development for Diablo 4.
In his conversation with Kinda Funny Games“As I sit here, we’re about to launch the main game, we’re finishing season one, we’re working on season two, we’re working on the first expansion as well and we’re going to start working on the second expansion, we’re working on that now and we haven’t released the game yet,” Ferguson said.
Ferguson also adds that the live services’ gaming strategy allows for more substantial content to be included over time in new seasons rather than the way it was done with Diablo 3.
Ferguson previously mentioned that Diablo 4’s expansions will contain narrative missions and have a richer context around seasons while Diablo 3 focused on adding new mechanics and balancing them.
