A blind Kansas City Chiefs fan described the harrowing moment she was pulled away from danger by a good Samaritan as gunfire erupted at the Super Bowl parade on Wednesday.

In an interview with NBC News, the unnamed woman stood next to her son and partner and recounted the moment she heard gunshots during the mass shooting that killed at least 21 people and left one dead.

“Thank God there was someone there who helped me save my vision. I’m legally blind and then I got a man to help me,” she said.

The woman said that when she heard the gunshots, a man nearby said the shots were fired before she asked him for help due to her visual impairment.

“He said, ‘Hey, it’s already shot,’ and I said, ‘I’m legally blind, can you help me get to safety?’ and he grabbed my arm and took charge,” she said.

The unnamed woman said that after telling a man in the crowd that she was blind, he grabbed her arm and “just took over” to help save her from the violent scene.

“I’m extremely grateful for him and if you’re watching, thank you.”

Afterward, the woman was stunned and said she was relieved that her son, who went missing for an hour during the shooting, is okay. A sentiment echoed by the blind woman’s partner.

“I didn’t know if he was dead, I didn’t know if he was hurt, I had no idea,” the associate said.

“It was probably the worst feeling I’ve ever felt.”

Her son initially said he was following one of his mother’s before turning around to look for the other, but when he returned, he was stranded.

He said at that moment he felt nervous when he heard about six gunshots and saw everyone running away.

The son soon located one of his mothers before they went to find the other and were reunited.

On Thursday, officials revealed that two of the three suspects responsible for the horrific Super Bowl shooting that took place outside Union Station are minors. All suspects are currently in custody by Kansas City police.

At a news conference outside city police headquarters, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said investigators believe the shooting was sparked by a personal dispute between a small group and that the parade was not was the goal.

“It was a dispute that ended in shooting,” the chief said, adding that a total of 10 people were questioned afterward and that more arrests are possible.

Authorities said the more than two dozen victims ranged in age from eight to 47, and at least half of them were under 16.

Graves said the incident appears to have been fueled by rampant gun violence problems in Kansas City, and has “no nexus (connection) to terrorism” at this time.

The city’s fire chief said at least eight victims remain in critical condition.

Images circulating on social media show at least five people detained after the shooting.

Several of them appear to be minors and were photographed being handcuffed and dragged away by police. It is unclear which, if any, of those photographed are among the three suspects. One of the suspects was wearing a yellow Patrick Mahomes when police handcuffed him.

The Kansas City Police Department told DailyMail.com it would not release the names of the people in the images since they have not been charged.

Police have 24 hours to file charges against those arrested, and the suspects appear to be quickly detained after the shooting began around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

“I’m sorry this happened yesterday,” Kansas City Mayor Quinton said at another news conference Thursday morning.

“We worked hard to put on an exceptional parade, we spent millions on it, but we couldn’t keep everyone safe and that’s something I feel very guilty about.”

Lisa López-Galván, a beloved Kansas City radio DJ, was killed during the shooting while attending the parade with her husband and adult son, who was also shot.

Loved ones have hailed her as a “beautiful person” who was “kind, always calling and checking on the family.”

People close to López Galván said she was “the kind of person who would jump in front of a bullet for anyone” and that her death has left a “huge hole in our hearts.”

Witnesses described a chilling scene in which victims were shot to the ground and people were trampled in the chaos.

More than a million people were expected to gather in Kansas City for the celebration, exacerbating frantic scenes as large crowds formed a stampede to run for safety.

Rick Reichmeier told KCTV he was separated from his family when the shooting began, before witnessing the gruesome moment after a woman was shot.

“When I got up, there was a lady probably about 25 feet away from me and she had blood coming out of her mouth while they were pumping her chest,” he said.

‘I was walking away and I heard some gunshots, some pop pop pop pop, people started running and I ran. Then all of a sudden people start hitting the ground, I hit the ground and people fall on top of me.’

Hours after the horrific scene, Travis Kelce continued his victory party at a Kansas City restaurant.

The tight end appeared in good spirits as he held a beer on his way to the Granfalloon restaurant and bar, just hours after being rushed off the stage with his teammates when several gunmen opened fire on fans.

Kelce posed for a smiling selfie with two police officers parked outside, in an ill-timed exit after his onstage antics where he appeared too drunk to speak.

The selfies sparked a backlash from some fans, with one saying: “Not a good look for him in my opinion a few hours after one person died and others were injured.”

Others defended the Superbowl star and felt he had the right to enjoy a meal with his team, hours after he said he was “heartbroken” by the horrific shooting.

‘My heart goes out to everyone who came to celebrate with us and has been affected. KC, you mean a lot to me,” he said on X.
