We initially joked about the different menus and within five minutes I had to ask Sunny again for her name. Luckily, he didn’t feel insulted: she asked me again about mine too and we laughed.
We both have a sense of adventure and chat about our travels. He’s been all over the United States, while I was just at Disney World. We got into an interesting spiritual discussion about people’s different beliefs. He was relaxed and cheerful.
Embarrassing moments?
I had to ask him if he had spinach in his teeth and when I left to go to the bathroom I took half the tablecloth with me.

Did sparks fly?
I would say not. At one point, I felt like he had almost walked away and decided there was no attraction. He was still polite, but it felt like his energy simply diminished. Maybe he was tired. By then, I also realized that there was no romance. Our age difference was noticeable and some of his attitudes made him look quite young. We said goodbye with a hug without exchanging details.
Would they see each other again?
I would say no, but I enjoyed the evening. Sunny is a really nice person and if she saw him, she would definitely go and say hello.
What do you think he thought of you?
Honestly, I have no idea, but maybe we feel the same way: a good date, but no romance.
Would your family and friends like it?
Yes I think so. She showed herself very well and would be a good companion for the right woman.

I thought Diana was a very beautiful lady with a great smile. She was already at the table waiting, so I quickly sat down and we started chatting.
Easy to talk to?
Yes, it was a fun experience. We had a lot in common, especially the fact that we are both foodies, so we enjoyed trying and sharing our food. The prawn starters were amazing and we also loved the chicken dish we shared.
We ate a lot and enjoyed excellent talks. We both said that you only live once and that’s why we like to enjoy things to the fullest.
We also live at home with our parents; Neither of us moved out or lived alone, but we agreed that we both would if we had the chance. I liked the fact that family is important to her.
Embarrassing moments?
Luckily not, but I’m sure we would have laughed if there had been anything.
Did sparks fly?
We got along well, we joked a lot, but something was missing. The chemistry just wasn’t there and I didn’t feel that kind of connection.
Normally I would flirt, but I wasn’t making my most flirtatious talk with Diana at all.

There was no romance but I enjoyed his company. I don’t think she would go on another date, but I would definitely say hello if I ever ran into her.

I suspect that, like me, she felt it was a mutual friendship without romance, so it was simply a pleasant experience. We’re not awkward people, so she would have made the move if the spark was there.

Some of my friends would definitely enjoy its vibes.
