Ryan Reynolds caused a sensation among fans when he brought out Peggy, Britain’s ugliest dog, for the Deadpool and Wolverine UK fan event at the Eventim Apollo.
Dressed in a teal suit as she walked the red carpet, the star of the new superhero film introduced the unique dog as “aka Mary Puppins aka Dogpool.”
Shortly after, his wife Blake Lively, full of energy and a desire to joke, shared a clip of her moment with Peggy on her Instagram page, along with a message for her fans and followers.
“SOS. He’s trying to get me pregnant again,” she wrote over the video of her husband at the promotional event for the 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and sequel to Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018).
She added: ‘Put aside the dog you find adorable despite societal expectations and take off that damn teal suit.

Peggy will play the furry sidekick to her husband’s main character, Deadpool.
Reynolds returns for the third installment of the film franchise as Wade Wilson/Deadpool alongside Jackman as James ‘Logan’ Howlett/Wolverine, as well as Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen, among others.

Her playful post at husband Ryan Reynolds’ expense comes the same day Lively shared a 10-photo post of herself wearing a colorful ensemble consisting of Bode’s Floret Brocade shorts, a matching button-down shirt, a strapless black crop top, and strappy sandals.
The Dedpool star showed off his comedic skills as he snuggled up to Peggy, aka Mary Puppins aka Dogpool.

“Floral fashion month has begun. Let’s be real, I only do these press tours so I have an excuse to scrapbook, bake, and flower arrange while laughing with my friends. Let the merriment begin…” Lively wrote at the beginning of the lengthy caption.
“@bode thanks for the coolest shorty. And @vancityreynolds thanks for donating your @bode shirt for me to wear with said shorty. I give you all the Lily Bloom style in real life. Yay,” she continued, referencing her character in the film.
The mother of four ended the caption with a playful reference to Reynolds and Deadpool and Wolverine.
‘@vancityreynolds, @gigihadid, a little bit of me, a dash of @pierceandward and @houseofhackney and a hefty splash of young Atlas as a combo platter were my inspiration for Lily. Now you can’t unsee it… Feminine and masculine. Maximalist and minimalist. Excessive and utilitarian. A woman who is all things, all at once. But it’s only fair because I hear I was her inspiration for Wade Wilson in @deadpoolmovie 3. Guess we’ll have to wait and see…’ Lively concluded.
Lively and Reynolds are already the proud parents of four children – daughters James, nine, Inez, seven, and Betty, four – and most recently welcomed their fourth child in February 2023.
