Blacktown Sydney: Teenager reportedly dragged two kilometers on streets before falling from car – as he fights for his life in a coma

A man must face justice after a teenager was allegedly dragged two kilometers through the streets of Sydney’s west before falling from a car.
Police were told that shortly before 7pm on Friday, a 19-year-old man sitting in a car and a 15-year-old boy began arguing on a street in Blacktown.
As the man drove away, the boy was allegedly dragged by the vehicle along two roads before falling from the vehicle in front of a gas station.
The 15-year-old was taken to Blacktown Hospital before being transferred to Westmead Children’s Hospital. He is in serious but stable condition.
A 19-year-old Riverstone man is due in court after allegedly dragging a 15-year-old boy on his vehicle along two roads before the boy fell from the vehicle outside a gas station.
Authorities confirmed the boy was placed in an induced coma.
Following an investigation, officers stopped a car in the area near where the boy was found.
The driver was arrested and charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and supplying a prohibited drug.
The Riverstone man was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court today.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have information or dashcam vision to come forward.
