A giant ‘black triangle-shaped’ UFO hovering over a California military base was captured on six videos and seen by 50 US Marines in 2021.
A stunning photo taken by an officer at Camp Wilson in Twentynine Palms on April 20, 2021 shows the seemingly triangular object with lights on its edges, over desert mountains – where it hovered for 10 minutes according to witnesses.
Videos show the lights of what some Marines believe to be a craft, hanging in the dark sky, filmed between 8:24 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
At 8:29 p.m., video recorded soldiers firing a flare into the sky in an attempt to illuminate the object, which had five red lights.
However, before they could fully illuminate the “dark triangle”, it disappeared without a trace.

At least 50 Marines saw the phenomenon and recorded the craft hanging in the sky for about 10 minutes before it disappeared without a trace.

Shortly after the encounter, Marines said dozens of trucks and several helicopters rushed to that area of the base, with helicopters flying overhead until about 11:30 p.m. that night.
Witness estimates of the size of the unidentified object ranged from the size of a stealth bomber, which has a wingspan of 172 feet, to about half the length of a football field.
Journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp acquired six film clips that captured the event from two angles, along with an accompanying photograph, which they post via their podcast, Armed.
The footage, recorded by the Marines using their smartphone cameras, appears to depict five lights arranged in a triangular formation.
The incident echoes the infamous Phoenix Lights case, a well-known mass sighting of a giant triangular-shaped UFO that occurred over the city of Phoenix in 1997, with witnesses including the governor of Arizona, Fife Symington.
A mortarman serving at Camp Wilson during the 2021 incident spoke with Corbell and took a high-exposure photo on his smartphone that revealed the outline of an object.
The object appears to be triangular, surrounded by evenly spaced lights around its edge in a V formation.
The mortarman, whom DailyMail.com keeps anonymous, described how one of his companions saw the object materialize out of nowhere.
“One of my friends was outside. He looked at the sky and said he came out of nowhere. And we all came out and watched, and then slowly more than 50 people started coming out and watching. These lights appeared out of nowhere.
He added that despite their military experience, none of the Marines could recognize the craft, and described their reaction as “bewildered”.

The mortarman, who filmed and photographed the object, said: “If you look at the picture, you can see a black triangular shape.
“With the photo I took with the black triangular shape under the lights, it’s definitely not some type of flare or lighting rounds.”
The witness said the apparent object remained stationary for approximately ten minutes. But a Marine can be heard on one of the videos saying the triangle appeared to be in motion.
Another Marine, whom DailyMail.com keeps anonymous, was serving as a gunner at the base when he saw the UFO.
He firmly rejected any suggestion that the lights could be attributed to artillery-fired illumination shells – or any other trivial explanation he might have recognised.
“It was something none of us had ever seen before. It was a completely different color; the size [and] enlightenment was different,’ he said. “When we fire illumination shells, it’s one, you fire in the air and drop it, then you fire another.
‘It was like five right next to each other and they’re kinda reddish, and our loom [illumination] the circles are yellow-white.’

A Marine, whom DailyMail.com keeps anonymous, was serving as a gunner at the base when he saw the UFO. “It was something none of us had ever seen before,” he said.
The gunner compared the size of the UFO to a stealth bomber, while the mortarman described it as equivalent to the size of a three-bedroom house. Another witness who spoke with Corbell compared it to about half the size of a football field.
Witnesses also reported additional peculiar lights surrounding the object throughout the encounter, which can be faintly observed in the footage.
Illumination shells were eventually fired at the UFO by Marines, captured in one of the videos.
But before the object could be illuminated, it suddenly disappeared.
The mortarman described the event: “These two orange lights, the actual loom [illumination] the towers… are mounted on it [the UFO]. And then after that, it just disappeared. Like all straight was black, then helicopters started firing a ** at him…then started circling the area.
The gunner said he saw a convoy of more than 60 military trucks joining the helicopters heading to the scene.
“These helicopters circled for quite a while afterwards. And there was also a convoy that went out. A convoy of more than 60 trucks.
The witnesses involved struggled to find explanations.
“I don’t think it’s anything from the United States military,” the mortarman told Corbell. ‘[It was] definitely some type of UFO and the government was trying to search for it after it disappeared. I’m just trying to figure out what it was.
“I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Corbell, who spoke to numerous witnesses, claimed the incident had not been reported to the US government’s UFO investigation office, known as All-domain. Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
“Due to the location of this massive UFO sighting – in the restricted airspace of one of our active military installations in the United States – significant amounts of data have been accumulated and include radar, thermal , electro-optical and signature,” Corbell told DailyMail.com. .
“The documentation on the base is also presumed to have been generated with high confidence, due to the protocol and the response observed by the witnesses.
“This case had not been properly reported through active UAP investigation channels in the United States; under the authority of the AARO (All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) of the Ministry of Defence. AARO has now been notified of this alleged incursion.
“If the public wants to know more about this UAP meeting, we will have to encourage our representatives to ask questions and demand answers.”
