Bizarre Reason Aaron Rodgers ‘REFUSED Injury Scans’ During Nightmare Jets Season

Aaron Rodgers has reportedly refused to have scans done to determine the severity of several injuries he suffered during a nightmarish New York Jets season.

The quarterback, 40, has struggled to regain his best form in his first full season in New York after last year’s debut season lasted just four snaps before tearing his Achilles tendon against the Buffalo Bills.

According to an article on NFL.Com, Rodgers has now tried to cover up how hurt he got during the season in an effort to stay on the field and will not have scans for any issues to find out the full extent of any damage.

The report says Rodgers hurt his hamstring in the September 29 loss to the Denver Broncos, but assured his team it was not a significant issue.

He also suffered a low ankle sprain in the London loss to Minnesota Vikings the following week.

The Jets have a bye week this weekend, giving Rodgers a chance to rest and recover for the final six games of the season.

However, there is no indication that Rodgers’ refusal to be scanned for injuries has anything to do with his interest in alternative medicine.

The quarterback has made no secret of his anti-vax views and has been open about his offseason use of the hallucinogenic drug ayahuasca.

His team has everything to do to make the playoffs, with a record currently sitting at 3-8.

Rodgers’ future with the Jets beyond this season is also in doubt after a campaign that saw Robert Saleh fired as coach and Joe Douglas fired as GM.

A report on Saturday stated that Rodgers wants to continue playing in the NFL beyond this season, but sees his future away from the Jets.
