This is the bizarre moment a man was seen repeatedly kicking a seat on a plane before being restrained and tied up by three other passengers.
The video was recorded on a United Airlines flight from Austin to Los Angeles on November 16.
The individual can be seen holding an aisle and exit row seat while kicking the chair in the middle with enough force to knock it into the empty row behind.
Dressed in a dark sweater, gray sweatpants, and white Nike sneakers, the man continually uses his right foot to kick the seat.
Video footage showed the same sequence of events for about 25 seconds, before the clip ends with the man jumping on the seat in what appeared to be a last-ditch attempt to dismantle it.
The reasons why the man acted that way are still unclear.
Following the incident, United Airlines confirmed that the individual had been banned from further flights with the airline.
The clip was recorded by Gino Galofaro, who resides in San Diego, California and works as an addiction counselor, says he woke up to the activity and had to help restrain the man.

Gino, who runs addiction treatment service Hope Interventions, said: “I woke up and he was kicking the seat. “The stewardess came by a couple of times, no one was doing anything.
“I restrained him and two other passengers were already wearing zip ties, so we tied his hands and feet and buckled him into the seat. We were 40 minutes from LAX.
“The police came on board when we landed.”
Gino adds that he hopes to be in communication with the man’s family to see if he can offer any help.
United Airlines reported there were 76 passengers on the plane with five crew members.
A spokesperson said: “On November 16, local police encountered United Flight 502 upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport after a customer became disruptive.
‘We thank our crew for helping to address the situation and working to ensure the safety of everyone on board. We have excluded this customer from future United flights.
It comes after passengers on board an American Airlines flight were seen restraining a man sitting in first class who was allegedly violent towards his female travel companion.

One sternly tells the passenger to take his hands off the woman sitting next to him while a flight attendant tries to mediate.
“Don’t touch her,” a man could be heard shouting in the passenger’s face, before he apparently gave an inaudible excuse.
“I don’t give a damn,” the man responds as the passenger argues that he took his hands off the woman. ‘Look at me, you screwed up, don’t touch it.’
At that moment, a second man warns that the apparently skilled passenger would be arrested if he touched the woman again.
“Get your fucking hands off him right now,” he said. “If you touch her again, you’ll be arrested, asshole.”
Passengers were seen shouting at him to take his hands off the woman sitting next to him while a flight attendant tried to mediate.
The first man can then be seen asking the woman if she is okay, before passengers tell him to move to another empty seat, away from his fellow passenger.
While crossing the hallway, the alleged attacker shouts that he was the one who was attacked by the woman, which she flatly denied.
“No, you were not attacked,” the woman replied. “I put my hand over your mouth to make you shut up.”
But the man stood his ground and shouted: ‘You slapped me!’
