New security camera footage showed Wicliff Wves Fleurizard, 26, secretly taking a photo of another passenger's boarding pass to board the plane

New airport security footage revealed how an Apple auditor discreetly took pictures of another passenger’s boarding pass, which he then used to board a Delta flight before being caught and arrested by police.

Wicliff Wves Fleurizard, 26, used a standby ticket on a Southwest flight to get through security, but he became desperate when he learned that the plane leaving Salt Lake City International Airport for his native Texas was full.

The security camera footage showed Fleurizard, who works as a global enterprise solutions accountant at Apple, sitting next to an unsuspecting passenger looking at their boarding pass.

The other passenger appeared to be an older man, and as he held the boarding pass up to his eyes, Fleurizard could be seen leaning back and taking a picture of the passenger’s boarding pass.

Security camera footage showed the Apple auditor then assessing his photography skills, zooming in on his photo of the passenger’s boarding pass for a Delta flight to Austin, making sure the photo resembled the actual boarding pass.

When Fleurizard presented his picture of the boarding pass at the desk, he was allowed to board.

Other footage from security cameras included video of Fleurizard milling around the flight gate trying to figure out how to leave Salt Lake City, where he had been on a snowboarding trip.

The footage showed him lurking near other passengers and trying to get within striking distance so he could take a picture of their boarding pass.

Fleurizard could be seen looking over the shoulders of people sitting at the gate. He appeared to be taking pictures of another passenger’s boarding pass and honing his illegal craft.

After the Apple employee reached the plane, he contented himself in the bathroom, where he spent a “significant amount of time” waiting until boarding was complete and the plane’s doors were secured.

According to the complaint, at this point Fleurizard came to the back of the full plane and told an attendant that his ticket was for seat 21F.

The attendant checked and saw that the passenger sitting in that seat had a valid ticket.

The staff then searched for Fleurizard’s name in their system and did not find a valid ticket or reservation for him on Delta Flight 1683 or any other Delta Flight.

An attendant observed that there were no empty seats on the flight and the aircraft, which was taxiing, was forced to return to the gate.

After disembarking, Fleurizard was met by authorities in Salt Lake City.

Security camera footage showed him being questioned by three officers before being handcuffed and escorted away from the gate.

He is currently being held at the Salt Lake County Metro Jail.

A Delta gate agent later revealed that a young girl had a problem when she tried to scan her ticket to board.

The system had shown that she was already on board despite the fact that she was traveling on her own and no one else had any permission to use it.

Fleurizard allegedly told authorities he had been snowboarding in Park City and needed to get home to see his family, who had flown in from Florida.

He said he got a Southwest ticket from a friend and tried to leave on March 16, but there were no seats available and he was rebooked to March 17, according to the complaint.

However, that flight was overbooked and he left the boarding area.

Fleurizard reportedly admitted he made a mistake and insisted he was just trying to get home.

He has an active warrant out in Austin for violating a protective order, though the details are unclear.

Fleurizard has been described by the Austin Police Department as having “violent tendencies,” and he was previously arrested in June 2023 for allegations that he assaulted a family member.

His case for the alleged assault is still pending in Williamson County, Texas.

Fleurizard works as a global enterprise solutions auditor at Apple, according to his LinkedIn page, and has been with the company since January 2022.
