A cleaner claimed a woman broke into the house she worked at to accuse her of having an affair with her husband.
Libby Denney, 28, of York, was allegedly scrubbing the sink when her client’s neighbor burst into the kitchen and confronted her.
The neighbor, who has not been named, was filmed attacking the stunned 28-year-old, who did his best to calm the situation.
The anonymous woman shouted: ‘Can you tell me exactly why the hell you are at my next door neighbor’s house and why your name is now showing up on my husband’s phone?’
The video caused a storm online and garnered more than nine million views, but many have questioned whether it is real, with one comparing it to the “GCSE drama”.
Libby Denney (pictured), 28, from York, claimed a woman burst in when she was cleaning a client’s house to accuse her of cheating.
The women continued their tirade and said, ‘What are you laughing at? What the hell are you laughing at? It’s clear that I just said that I live next door.
The wife continued to berate Libby, asking her if she has an Onlyfans account and accusing her of “hooking up” with her husband.
Explaining what allegedly happened, Libby said: “I had been carrying equipment into the house when the husband next door asked me if I was moving in.
‘I was interested in the house because it had been empty for a while. I told him I was a cleaner and he said he recognized me from TikTok. I have an account that advertises my cleaning business.
‘He asked me if I did deep cleanings because he wanted one for his mother. We exchanged numbers so he had my contact (number).
“That was in the morning and around five in the afternoon his wife burst in. She was delirious. She already had her own story in her head and believed.
“After it started, the husband came and calmed her down, but she was still unwilling.” Libby added: I was moved by how she acted, but it doesn’t move me much.
During the uncomfortable video, the woman was heard shouting: ‘Talk to your husband right now and I’ll tell him your number is in my husband’s phone.’
Libby, owner of The Clean Up Company, claimed she was filming herself for TikTok content
The neighbor, who has not been identified, allegedly barged in and asked why Libby’s number was in her husband’s phone.
The mother of two claimed to have given her number to the woman’s husband for work reasons.
The co-owner of The Clean Up Company seemed surprised when the women burst into the house.
Libby asked the woman to leave and even threatened to call the police to calm the neighbor down.
The cleaner posted the footage on TikTok, where it racked up nine million views.
The mother of two added: “I’ve had similar situations before, but never anything this conflictive.”
‘I’m glad I was recording because if I told people what happened they wouldn’t believe me. The video is real, I always have my camera filming me cleaning so I have a backlog of content to use on my days off.
“I was filming myself cleaning as usual when she came in. I always leave the doors open to ventilate the properties I’m cleaning, but I won’t be doing that anymore.”
Libby said she will have to return to the property to finish the work, but she will not accept neighbors as clients.
Unsurprisingly, Libby said she won’t take the woman’s mother-in-law as a client.
The 28-year-old woman appeared shocked when she was assaulted while cleaning her client’s kitchen sink.
The cleaner seemed to do her best to calm the situation and explain why she had given out her number.
Libby said she left the door open to let in fresh air when the neighbor burst in to accuse her of cheating.
The video racked up nine million views, but many users are wondering if the video is real.
The mother of two claimed she had never been in such a ‘confrontational’ situation at work before.
Viewers took to the comments section to ask if Libby’s video was genuine or staged.
‘I joke that now that the video has gone so viral, I will deep clean his mother’s house for free. I think I can live without the client. She hasn’t been in contact.
‘I’ll be back today to finish the job. “I don’t think they’ll apologize, but when they watch TikTok they might stay away.”
Viewers were quick to comment on the strange clip. One wrote: “I’m worried about how many people think this is real.”
‘Do I need to know if this is real? “It has me really confused,” she added a second. A third said: “Patiently waiting for an update on whether this is real or not.”
Another said: ‘What’s up with the GCSE drama…?’
A fifth added: “I’m dead.” Are you playing with us?’
