Bindi Irwin has revealed how her daughter Grace Warrior reminds her of her late father Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin.
The 25-year-old wildlife warrior said MY! News At the annual Steve Irwin Gala on Saturday, he sees “a lot of his father in Grace.”
‘She has so much fiery, passionate energy. She is simply a determined woman and never stops moving. I mean, she’s 3 years old, so she’s a very busy little girl,” she said.
Bindi continued: ‘She believes it is her job to make sure all the animals are cared for. She is the kindest, most beautiful soul and at the same time, she has this fiery energy that it’s like dad and I love it.”
He also revealed that his daughter calls her late grandfather ‘Grandpa Crocodile’.

‘My heart melts every time he says it. But I think it came about because every time I saw a video of him or a photo, he was feeding a crocodile,” she explained.
Steve died on September 4, 2006, aged 44, after being pierced in the chest by a manta ray while filming a documentary about the Great Barrier Reef.
Bindi shares Grace with her American husband, Chandler, 27, whom she married in 2020.
Chandler now resides in Australia and works at the family zoo in Queensland.
The wildlife warrior, 25, told E! News at the annual Steve Irwin Gala on Saturday, she sees “a lot of her father in Grace.” In the photo Bindi, with her husband Chandler Powell and Grace.
It comes after Bindi took to Instagram last month to share a cute video of Grace introducing a turtle to the camera.
“This is a turtle eating a flower,” the budding Wildlife Warrior said as the reptile munched on a red hibiscus flower.
‘It’s a huge turtle… the turtle goes to land and the turtles go to the water. “Her favorite food is leaves,” the boy added, to which Bindi replied, “That’s right, baby.”
At the end of the video, Bindi is seen holding the animal alongside her husband Chandler and Grace, while saying, “Thank you for joining us while Grace taught us a little about turtles.”
