Buffalo Bills superstar quarterback Josh Allen has spoken about the situation that caused Stefon Diggs to miss a day of practice during offseason training earlier this summer.
‘I love it. That’s my man,’ Allen said in a recent appearance on the ‘Bussin’ With The Boys’ podcast.
The media have blown this out of proportion. As if we were in a freshman camp or a minicamp. We’re not going to play a game for four months. He doesn’t show up for a day.
‘He’s still there, you know, the coach asked him to go home. We were in conversations and discussions to try to work things out and it was nothing major.
And the media blew it up. They’re still talking about it. Let go. There’s no reason to keep talking about it. He is in the field with us the next day. It wasn’t a big deal.

Diggs missed an off-season day of practice but returned to the field the next day.

Head coach Sean McDermott said he believed the situation was resolved when Diggs returned.
Diggs would return to practice the next day, and head coach Sean McDermott said he considered the matter settled.
In recent years, Diggs’ relationship with the team has been called into question due to his visibly angry reactions to their failure to perform in the playoffs year after year.
He has repeatedly been Buffalo’s star and Allen’s primary target, during his rise to being considered one of the best signal callers in the game.
Last season, Allen had 4,283 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also gained 762 rushing yards and seven TDS.
1,429 yards and 11 TDS came directly from throwing to Diggs, who also had 108 receptions last season.
