Billionaire Bill Ackman has shared a number of wild claims on his X account, including a suggestion that President Biden may be terminally ill.
The 58-year-old investor shared a litany of suggestions about the embattled commander-in-chief who announced he would step down on Sunday afternoon.
The claims shared by Ackman include concerns that Biden may be terminally ill, as well as others related to the letter itself.
Speculation about Biden’s health has since been fueled by his younger brother, Frank, who said he would enjoy “whatever time we have left.”
Meanwhile, conspiracy theorists have also been speculating about the authenticity of the letter, with some commentators saying her signature appeared to be photocopied.
Ackman has continued to push this narrative on his X page, frequently sharing past instances of Biden’s signature showing examples of it not being underlined.

Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race by sharing a letter on social media on Sunday afternoon.
Ackman shared another user’s post that read: “I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but the lack of any photographs or evidence that Joe Biden signed the letter or even a brief on-camera sighting has shades of Soviet Regime Change of yesteryear.”
Speaking to CBS, Frank Biden said the president’s health was part of his decision to step down.
He told the outlet: “I’m incredibly proud of my brother. Selfishly, I’m bringing him back so we can enjoy whatever time we have left.”
That choice of phrase prompted speculation from Ackman and others that Biden has a secret illness that he has not disclosed.
A leading Parkinson’s disease specialist has visited the White House several times this year, though officials have insisted Biden is in good health.
“He is a genuine hero, his country is above himself; it sounds corny in our cynical political climate, but neither he nor I are cynical,” Frank’s statement continued.
“The goal remains the same: to defeat Trump and continue the work that Joe has done. My hope is that our party will unite around this heroic act.”
Asked by the outlet if his brother’s overall health influenced his decision not to run for reelection, he said, “In my humble opinion, absolutely.”

Following her announcement, Kamala Harris announced that she would run for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Several prominent Democrats have since come out in support of Harris, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Trump has already said he thinks Harris will be even easier to beat than Biden, though.
National polling averages show Harris trailing Biden by 48 to 46 percent, according to the New York Times.

Following her announcement, Kamala Harris announced that she would run for the Democratic presidential nomination.
This represents an improvement over Biden’s results in the same polls, which showed Trump leading him 47 to 44.
In swing states and even states that have gone reliably Democratic in recent elections, Harris outperformed Biden in polls even when she lost.
He is one point (48-47) behind Trump in Pennsylvania, surpassing Biden, who was losing 48-45 to Trump.
In Virginia, she leads Trump by five percentage points over Biden, who only leads Trump by four percentage points.
However, those polls were conducted before the assassination attempt on former President Trump and before Biden withdrew.
