Bill Shorten launches pre-election blitz in Queensland

Opposition leader Bill Shorten is back on the road, setting off on a Queensland blitz as the unofficial election campaign gains momentum.

Mr Shorten will travel north for nine days and visit 16 of Queensland’s 30 electorates; including Dawson, Flynn, Forde and Peter Dutton’s seat of Dickson.

While the election hasn’t officially been called and isn’t expected to be until after the April 2nd budget, this is very much the unofficial beginning of the election campaign, with the Opposition Leader set to unveil an array of policy promises in marginal seats.
