Bill Maher didn’t hesitate to say what he thinks will happen in November and said on his podcast that Joe Biden “is going to lose” against Donald Trump.
The HBO host said it to start a heated debate with tech journalist Kara Swisher on an episode of her show Club Random that launched Sunday.
The liberal comedian didn’t hesitate to say he would ‘vote for (Biden’s) head in a jar of blue liquid’ before voting for Trump, but he didn’t think there were enough people who would do the same.
In fact, after declaring that Biden’s age (81, the oldest US president) was the biggest problem, he said he believed the election might be over already.
‘I think it’s a moot point at the moment. “He’s going to lose,” Maher said.

Swisher immediately defended himself by saying, “No, you’re wrong” and daring Maher to make a bet.
Maher seemed undecided in the election and was unwilling to put up money.
“Not only will I not bet on this premise, but you might change your mind about it in the next two minutes,” Maher said.
Asking Swisher for some convincing, the tech writer claimed there was a “silent majority” of voters who “don’t want to go back to chaos.”
He said these voters, who are mostly women and, while not publicly anti-Trump, are not willing to vote for him.
Maher seemed skeptical of the premise.
—Do I think what you described is absolutely possible? Yes. Or it couldn’t be and I can’t tell the difference,” Maher said.
Maher believed the opposite could be true, that there are “silent majority” Trump voters who could tip the balance.

“The shy Trump voter is the one who is going to vote for Trump, but he doesn’t want you to know it because he’s a little classless,” he said.
Swisher argued that Maher was being too pure with Biden when the alternative is Trump.
‘I think the problem with someone like you is that you, the focus on Biden versus the danger of Trump that they say, you’re focusing on ‘the buns don’t taste very good’ when the house is burning. I’m just telling you, you know. You’re aware of that,” Swisher said.
Maher fired back, saying that journalists and pundits “lose our credibility” when they don’t talk about how old Biden is.
The Real Time host has repeatedly expressed his skepticism of President Biden, maintaining that he prefers him over Trump.
Maher has suggested that the only thing Democratic and Republican voters have in common is that “they both hope their candidates die” before the 2024 elections.
In an interview with New York Times doubled down on the comments, joking that the octogenarian should accept that he walks “like a little boy with a full diaper.”
The comedian took aim at the 81-year-old president’s age and said he “looks old” during his appearance on The View last week.

Maher fired back, saying that journalists and pundits “lose credibility” when they don’t talk about how old Biden is.
Maher, 68, noted that Biden is only three years older than Trump, 78, but is perceived as much older.
“Biden just presents himself as old and it’s not really fair because he’s almost the same age as Trump,” he said.
“But Trump doesn’t present himself that way: You look at someone right away and you can sum it up.”
“We’re not young but we don’t present ourselves as old either,” he added, pointing to co-host Joy Behar, 81.
‘I saw him yesterday giving that speech, he’s like a corpse. “He should leave, he has lost people’s faith, it’s not fair.”
He then went on to make comparisons to Dracula, tagging President Ruth Bader Biden, the former Supreme Court justice who died in office despite calls for her resignation.
Her refusal to resign during the Obama administration, as suggested, paved the way for Donald Trump to eventually replace her with a more conservative judge after her death.
Maher, who has been an outspoken critic of the president and Trump, predicted a similar fate for Biden.
