Travis Kelce welcomed comedian Andrew Santino to his show New Heights this week, ahead of an episode in which he is expected to address Taylor Swift’s new songs about him.

Santino shared a video on his Instagram Story where he is sitting with Kelce, seemingly discussing how he came up with his nickname ‘Cheeto.’ The comedian shared the title of the footage: “Behind the scenes with @KillaTrav @NewHeightsShow.”

There’s no sign of Kelce’s brother Jason in the clip, but he joined in to film previous episodes from his home in Philadelphia.

This week’s podcast will be of additional interest to Swifties, as it’s the first Kelce has recorded since his girlfriend released her new album, The Tortured Poets Department.

After getting an early leak of the album last week, fans claimed that the song ‘The Alchemy’ was about Kelce with lyrics like ‘touch down’ and ‘Cheers chanted/because they said there was no chance/trying to be the best ‘. in the league/where is the trophy? He just comes running towards me.’

But Swift left an ace up her sleeve, surprising fans with a second album that includes the song ‘So High School,’ which fans also believe is about the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl winner.

In that song, Swift sings about: ‘Truth, dare, spinning bottles/You know how to play ball, I know Aristotle’ and ‘I feel like laughing in the middle of practice/Do that impression you gave your dad again’.

Kelce seemed to acknowledge that the song is about him through the New Heights X account, who tweeted a video of the brothers imitating their father Ed the next day.

But the Chiefs star hasn’t spoken directly about the puck since its release.

Swift announced the album’s imminent release before the Super Bowl, and Kelce told reporters that he had heard some of the songs.

“I’ve heard some of that, yes, and it’s incredible,” he said. “I can’t wait for her to revolutionize the world when she finally falls.”
