Bill Maher claims Joe Biden only challenged Donald Trump to two debates because he knows he is losing and is desperate to make up ground.

The president issued the challenge Wednesday for Trump to face him twice before the election: on June 27 in Atlanta and on September 10.

Trump immediately agreed with his typical bravado, declaring that he was “ready and willing to debate Crooked Joe,” despite his poor 2020 performances.

Maher, on his HBO talk show, claimed that Biden only agreed to debate, something Trump goaded him about throughout the campaign, because of his poor polls.

They now indicate that Trump will win an outright victory in the November election, and analysts say Trump’s victory is outside the polls’ margins of error.

Bill Maher claims Joe Biden only challenged Donald Trump to two debates because he knows he is losing and is desperate to make up ground.

“To me, this means that Biden knows he’s losing because otherwise he wouldn’t have agreed. Only the loser wants to debate,” he said.

‘I think the guy who has the most to prove is Biden. Trump is a known commodity. They know he’ll be a jerk.

‘He’ll be stalking and growling and won’t obey the rules and everything else. But Biden, they want to see proof of life.”

Maher parroted the phrase that Biden, as it stands, has no chance of winning and his poll numbers, six months before the elections, are terrifying.

‘However, I feel like we’ve turned a corner. Like after the last election, it was “Trump is done.” And then a year later, I said, ‘Well, it’s not going away,'” he said.

“And then it was, ‘Uh-oh, I could win again.'” And now it seems the consensus is that Biden almost can’t win.

“And I think he’s losing in every swing state except Wisconsin, and in increasing numbers.”

Maher then suggested that Democrats would have a better chance of winning if they convinced Biden to drop out and run a younger candidate.

‘Is it too late to change?’ he said.

‘Because in these swing states where Biden is losing, it’s interesting. The Democratic Senate candidate does not lose.

“So it just says something, which is not necessarily the match, but the guy.” They just don’t see him as the guy no matter what he does.

‘He has a lot of victories. It doesn’t seem like this will ever change the situation, but the Democrats are going to have to get out of their boxes now. Now!’

Historically, Senate elections do not necessarily follow presidential results and are more easily influenced by local issues and personalities.

Maher has previously discussed the idea of replacing Biden on the ticket, which would have to be done before or during the Democratic National Convention on August 19-22.

It has been widely rumored that Biden could step aside or be forced to do so in August.

His Vice President Kamala Harris tends to do even worse in polls.

But overcoming America’s first female vice president and first black vice president will prove a thorny task for Democrats, especially if the nominee ends up being a white man like California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
