Bill Maher has revealed why “things aren’t looking so good for Democrats” in the upcoming presidential election.
On his political talk show Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO, comedian Bill Maher criticized Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s participation in a voter turnout event with black men scheduled for Friday night.
“This is not a good sign when you have a black female candidate (Kamala Harris) and yet you need to shore up support among black men,” Maher said in his monologue.
And he added with a touch of sarcasm: ‘And who better than Tim Walz to connect with young black people? Because, apparently, Michael Bublé was not available.
‘Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian says, hello?’ she continued, referencing the media mogul’s history of dating black men.

“This is not a good sign when you have a black female candidate (Kamala Harris) and yet you need to shore up support among black men,” Maher said in his monologue.
Maher noted that even former President Barack Obama was scolding young black people for not voting for Kamala Harris.
‘But of course for some young people, especially young black people, it’s a difficult decision. “Harris is African-American and Trump has a sneaker line,” he said.
Maher’s attacks on the Harris-Walz campaign come shortly after the vice presidential candidate’s recent attempt to walk back his comments about the role of the Electoral College.
When asked about his recent comments suggesting the Electoral College may have outlived its usefulness (during a campaign in which he and running mate Kamala Harris lead national polls but could still lose to Donald Trump in key swing states ), Walz clarified his position.
“What I’m trying to point out is that there are people who feel like every vote should count in every state, and I think some people feel like that’s not the case,” Walz said in an interview on the ABC show. ‘Good morning America‘ with Michael Strahan.
He then talked about where he and Harris stand on the campaign trail.
And he added with a touch of sarcasm: ‘And who better than Tim Walz to connect with young black people? Because, apparently, Michael Bublé was not available’
‘We are out there arguing that the campaign’s position is clear, that that is not their position. Your position and mine is to ensure that everyone understands that their vote, no matter what state they are in, matters.”
“You said, ‘I think we all know the Electoral College needs to go,'” Strahan asked him at the beginning of their exchange. “But the campaign came out later that night and said that’s not their position.”
“So that’s something you and Vice President Harris don’t agree on,” Strahan asked Walz.
“I’ve talked about it in the past, she’s been very clear about it, and the campaign and my position is the campaign’s position,” Walz said in response.
This comes after Walz slammed Donald Trump after the former president warned the entire country could “end up like Detroit.”
While visiting Warren, Michigan, as part of his manufacturing tour, Walz took aim at comments Trump made a day earlier at the Detroit Economic Club.
In that speech, Trump stated: “The whole country will end up being like Detroit if she is its president.” You’re going to have a mess on your hands,’ addressing a bipartisan group of business leaders.
Walz responded by saying, “Donald Trump and JD Vance have a very different vision of America.” Yesterday, Trump said the whole country will end up like Detroit, but we know that Detroit is experiencing a comeback, a rebirth.”
He continued: “As a Minnesota Twins fan, I know Detroit beat us, but the city is growing, crime is down, and factories are opening. But these guys? The only thing they know about manufacturing is making nonsense,’ prompting laughter from the crowd.
