“This arrest is being handled at the local level and we remain grateful to the City of Palm Beach Police Department for their quick response and partnership.”
According to a Zillow profile, Arceo was a real estate agent in Colorado in 2018, NBC Miami reports.
Trump has been busy in Washington, signing executive orders at the White House during his first few days in office, and was not present during the security breach.
He’s not the first person arrested for trying to outdo at Mar-a-Lago.
In November, Chinese national Zijie Li, 39, from Los Angeles, was arrested after making multiple attempts to get past security over the past five months.
Li had repeatedly claimed he wanted to speak to Trump.
He was placed under the Baker Act – which allows a person to be involuntarily held and receive mental health treatment if they are considered a threat to themselves or others.
He was later released and given a bond preventing him from going within 500 feet of Trump or Mar-a-Lago.
But just eight days later, he tried his luck again, attempting to pass through the Mar-a-Lago checkpoint as a passenger in a rideshare.
His bond has been set at $100,000 for the latest incident.
