A British supermarket has slashed the price of popular chocolate packaging by a whopping £2.50.

Customers can stock up on their favorite holiday treats or purchase gifts for loved ones knowing they’ll be getting a great deal long before December.

In a special two-day event starting today and ending on October 27, Asda UK stores are offering shoppers significant savings on Quality Street, Celebrations and Cadbury Roses, if they are signed up to the loyalty programme.

The offer also applies to Cadbury Heroes and Swizzels, and is best enjoyed when purchased as part of a multi-buy.

Outside of the special offer, customers normally buy two tubs for £9, but for the next three days Asda has reduced the price to two for £5.

This means savvy shoppers can get their favorite tubs of chocolate for just £2.50 each – and here’s how to get them.

First, you’ll need to sign up for the Asda Rewards program. The Asda Rewards program is only available to shoppers who download its smartphone app.

If you already have the Asda Rewards app, you’ll see special discount coupons in your wallet section from today.

Simply head to your nearest Asda store, select the Christmas sweets you want, put them in your basket and head to the checkout.

Once there, simply scan the coupon in the wallet section of the app and the discount is yours.

The news comes as Asda has revealed 100 new festive dishes to be added to its premium range before Christmas.

The countdown has begun, there are exactly two months until Christmas, and the supermarket is ready to present its new luxury products ranging from delicious pieces of meat to delicious sweets.

Much of the new range is designed for convenience, so people can entertain guests during the holiday season in a fraction of the time.
