Big Sean reveals that the death of Nipsey Hussle prompted him to “make contact” with Kendrick Lamar amidst alleged feud
Big Sean revealed that the death of Nipsey Hussle in 2019 led him to work on the relationship between himself and fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar.
The 31-year-old hit maker talked about the alleged feud during Sunday’s episode of Joe Budden’s Pull Up series.

“One of the people I was important to contact me with, especially after Nipsey died, was Kendrick [Lamar]. Kendrick and I have a history … a relationship as peers, “Sean explained.
“[Kendrick] never talked about it [the alleged feud]. And I never talked about it and I should have said something, man. I should have just come and said, “No, it’s not” … but I didn’t. I was working on this song with Nip and then Nip passed. ”
Hussle was the victim of a shooting that took place outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles last March. The rapper was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
Big Sean performed on J. Cole’s highly anticipated musical festival on April 7, weeks after Nipsey’s death.
