Rebecca Judd has revealed how Melbourne’s socialites rate a night out on the town.

The 41-year-old businesswoman and influencer attended her friend Emma Lowe’s lavish 40th birthday party at Yugen Dining in South Yarra on Saturday night after celebrating her 40th birthday at Lorinska Merrington’s ski chalet earlier in the day.

“When you find last night’s eyelashes in an empty coffee cup, you know you had a great time,” she captioned the snap of her Sunday morning moment.

The candid photo shared to her Instagram Stories showed her set of ultra-long false lashes floating in cappuccino residue at the bottom of a glass.

Bec, who lives in the affluent suburb of Brighton with her husband, AFL great Chris Judd, attended not one but two 40th birthday parties over the weekend, so there’s no wonder she was feeling worse on Sunday morning.

The mother of four wore a strapless, rhinestone-embellished maxi dress from Australian boutique Meshki for $299 for Emma’s soiree.

Bec posed for a quick mirror selfie in the eye-catching garment alongside friends Michelle Greene and fashion designer Effie Kats.

“A quick outfit change to end the night celebrating,” JAGGAD activewear founder Michelle captioned the glamorous pre-party photo on her Instagram Stories.

The outfit change came after Bec pulled out all the stops for a party at TV personality Lorinska Merrington’s ski chalet earlier on Saturday.

The Yummy Mummies reality star, 40, hosted an après-ski-themed evening in South Yarra, which she compared to the Val d’Isère ski resort in the French Alps.

The Melbourne businesswoman ended her week on a lighter note, after using her large social media platform to respond to a follower who had accused her of “wanting kids in jail”.

Bec has been waging a single-handed war on youth crime in her affluent Melbourne suburb, with social media posts criticising the Victorian government.

In an Instagram Stories post last week, the influencer and former AFL WAG fumed that a 16-year-old boy was released on bail after he allegedly stole a Mercedes from a woman with cerebral palsy and crashed into a Volvo driven by a mother picking up her children from school.

After attending two birthday parties in a row, Bec's lashes ended here on Sunday.

At least one of the designer’s 756,000 followers disagreed with her stance and sent her a direct message: “So you think it’s okay to put children in jail?”

Bec shared the exchange on her story and responded: “No, I’m not. I think there are better ways to save these children, such as preventative programs, social support, etc.

“But I am more than in favor of putting repeat violent offenders in jail who have been given opportunity after opportunity,” he continued.

“You know those people who invade people’s homes with machetes, attack them, steal their cars and run over and kill innocent civilians while driving? We need to keep the community safe and there is a small group of repeat violent offenders who are causing most of the problems. I’m more than happy to see them jailed to keep Victorians safe. I hope that makes sense.”

Judd had previously posted a news report of the alleged incident, which occurred in her Melbourne suburb of Brighton, Bayside, to her Instagram Stories.

He added in the caption of the post: “To be clear, if we had better prevention programs we wouldn’t be in this mess.”

“But it takes time and will not save the many families who will see their homes invaded tonight, tomorrow and the day after. We need short- and long-term plans to deal with this crisis.”

The 41-year-old, who lives in the affluent suburb of Brighton with her husband, AFL star Chris Judd, and their four children, has become known for being outspoken on the issue in the Victorian capital, particularly in her local area of Bayside.

Bec has been praised for using her platform to draw attention to the Victorian capital’s crime problem, and criticised for complaining about her lavish lifestyle.

In May 2022, she said she felt unsafe in her multi-million dollar mansion and claimed the Victorian government “didn’t seem to care” or do anything about violent crime in Bayside.

The mother of four said she personally knew two women who had had their homes in Brighton broken into within weeks. The then Premier Daniel Andrews dismissed her comments, saying “the data would tell a different story”. He said he was “not interested in having a discussion with Ms Judd”.

“I am also compelled to point out that I believe there are over 70 additional police officers in the Bayside area, and the most recent crime statistics released by an independent agency would not support those general assessments of crime patterns,” Andrews said at the time.

There were 4,385 recorded crime incidents in Bayside in 2023 compared to 3,756 in 2022, an increase of 16.7 per cent, according to the latest data from the Victorian Crime Statistics Agency.

The main suburbs targeted by Bayside were Brighton, Brighton East and Hampton.

In June, Judd was applauded by Liberal MPs after calling Melbourne “woke, poor and violent” over authorities’ failure to crack down on crime.

Sandringham MP and Victorian Shadow Treasurer Brad Rowswell told news.com.au it was wrong to disparage or disrespect Bec’s views simply because of her wealth.

“What she’s doing is just telling it like it is. She’s saying what a lot of people in my community are thinking,” he told the publication.

“What she is doing is defending the innocent victims of her community and the government should listen to her.”

Brighton MP James Newbury agreed she was “important and all members of the community should be encouraged to speak out”.
