Big Brother viewers spotted a very awkward mistake during Sunday’s launch when new housemate Emma revealed she knew Thomas just minutes after entering the house.
Beauty business owner Emma, 53, was quickly approached by amputee footballer Thomas, 20, as he entered the famous ITV2 home.
As she approached Thomas to give him a welcoming hug, she said, “I knew you’d come here after seeing you at the audition.”
The cameras quickly moved away from the couple as host AJ Odudu and Will Best introduced the next housemate.
Fans rushed to housemates “scrolling through Instagram.”

Earlier in the show, Big Brother viewers went wild over new housemate Emma as she made an “iconic” entrance to the famous house.
Emma claimed it will bring “peace and harmony” to the house, but admitted there was also a chance it could cause some drama.
When she arrived at the house and spoke to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Emma made sure all eyes were on her in a stunning strapless red minidress that featured a daring feather top.
Fans quickly took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say that Emma is “already their winner,” calling her a “queen.”

During her introduction to VT, Emma said she hopes she can be the “peacemaker,” but admitted that she “doesn’t really act her age.”
As she approached Thomas to give him a welcoming hug, she said, “I knew you’d come here after seeing you at the audition.”

She said: ‘I’d like to think I’m the peacemaker. People ask me if I’m going to be the mother hen of the house; There may be times when I’m the mother hen, but generally speaking I’ll be one of the girls.

The original social experiment, where 16 strangers live together and are filmed for 24 hours in a custom-built home, has opened its doors once again following the huge success of last year’s rebooted series.
At the live launch, contestants arrived and introduced themselves to each other and the nation, hoping to take home the show’s huge £100,000 prize later this year.
This year’s launch was initially thrown into doubt after it was revealed that both hosts AJ and Will, who are returning for a second series, were suffering from individual illnesses.
He explained that he suffered “neck stiffness”, meaning he has difficulty moving his head, and was forced to visit an emergency physiotherapist.
Speaking to hosts Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, Will explained: ‘Yes, I have a stiff neck. It’s a little better today, yesterday was bad, I have an emergency physio in a couple of hours after this.
Poking fun at the inconvenient timing, he added: “It’s always nice right before the biggest show of the year, when you’re going to be live for six weeks, doing all kinds of crazy stuff, not being able to move.

However, he added that he couldn’t even lean on his co-host for support as AJ “lost his voice.”
Will said: ‘AJ lost her voice too, yeah sorry, saw her yesterday, we recorded a podcast.’ That’s why he’s not going to do radio today!’
He admitted he was “nervous” about the live launch, but insisted it was because of his love for the show and his desire to make sure everything went well.
He explained: ‘Yes, of course I get nervous, because I love this show so much, so I’m nervous that we’re going to do it justice, about the format, I’m nervous about how the housemates will do.
‘But once we get to Sunday, just before we start working, the nerves disappear. “I can’t wait to meet these people.”
