Lynn currently plays as a forward for NJ/NY Gotham FC in the National Women’s Soccer League and also represents the United States national team.

She was recruited to Pepperdine University, where she met her new husband, Marely, by the Western New York Flash in 2015.

The couple has long been looking forward to their marriage, and Marley announced in 2021 his plans to marry Lynn.

‘She will play soccer for another three years (in the United States) and at the end of all that, we would love to settle down here in Australia.

“So marriage is definitely on the way and in our plans for the future.”

The couple met while studying at university and then became engaged in a long-distance relationship for 18 months during the Covid-19 pandemic.

‘It’s brutal. Corona has ruined a lot of people, but I’m grateful and I have to see the bright side of things,” Marley said of his long-distance struggles.

‘It’s difficult that I obviously haven’t seen her, but soon we will be together. Thank God for technology.’

Disability support worker Marley was crowned the winner of the 2021 series of Big Brother Australia after spending 63 days in the house.

He took home the $250,000 cash prize and excitedly told how it would allow him to care for his father Clotaire after his mother Victoria died from cancer.
