Big Brother has officially unveiled its ninth roommate to appear in the upcoming season of the hit reality show.

On Monday, Marley Biyendolo was unveiled as the latest contestant to enter the famous Big Brother house in Sydney.

Marley, described as a ‘humble soul’ and ‘straight shooter’, is a 25-year-old basketball player and disability counselor from Melbourne.

In a teaser trailer on Monday, Marley revealed he’d played basketball at Madison Square Garden in New York City “ in front of 16,000 fans. ”

He called it ‘the most wonderful experience’ and said he also likes to ‘hang out with my family’.

My biggest motivation would certainly be my mother. Sadly she passed away, ”he said solemnly.

He added, “Mommy gave me one thing to do, and that was to take care of Daddy.”

Marley was then seen coming to the Big Brother set, and it was clearly more than he expected as he laughed and called the experience ‘crazy’.

“This money, that’s a lot for Dad. It could help so much, ”he confessed.

Speaking of his late mother, Marley revealed that he always watched Big Brother with her when he was younger.

“I hear her voice in my head telling me to go for it and win this whole thing,” he revealed.

Marley added: ‘I’ve been through some tough situations, but I keep getting up. I will do everything I can to get to the end. ‘
