Linda Torres – a castmate on VH1’s Big Ang – has died after contracting the Coronavirus.

The kind accomplice of the late Big Ang – who lost her life five years ago after a battle with throat cancer – was pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital on Thursday. She was 67 years old.

Ang’s sister Janine Detore broke the news TMZand said Linda eventually passed away after fighting for her life on a ventilator not long after discovering her diagnosis.

While no timeline was given from diagnosis to death, Linda also battled breast cancer and had recently undergone surgery to implant a chemo port.

While she was recovering from the procedure, she is said to have developed a fever, prompting her daughters to return her to the hospital thinking she had an implant-related infection.

Upon return to the hospital in New York, she tested positive for COVID-19 and slowly deteriorated from there.

Torres made a few cameos on Mob Wives alongside Ang and ended up being part of the series spin-off that only ran for one season in 2012.

And Ang – who was a breakthrough star on the show about women with mafia-related ties – became a notable personality for her raspy voice and accentuated bust, and got her own show.

She died in 2016 at the age of 55, less than a year after a cancerous tumor was discovered in her throat.

Months later, the cancer had spread to her brain and lungs, and Torres had made it a point to honor her on the anniversary of her death.

Her 2020 post tragically read, ‘Life isn’t the same without you here. I have a broken heart. Love you Until we’re all together again, rest easy, ‘and Torres’ last post on social media came in the form of a January 21 image that insinuated struggle.

The post read, ‘God never sends you into a situation alone. God goes before you, he is next to you, he is behind you. Whatever situation you have right now, rest assured. God is with you. ‘
