The question is not whether President Biden should withdraw from the race, but why he has not been removed from office.

The question is not whether President Biden should withdraw from the race, but why he has not been removed from office.

As Thursday night’s painful NATO press conference demonstrated, Biden is not even remotely fit to serve. Earlier in the day — when he is at his best, we are told — he introduced Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”

In the first question of his “Big Boy” press conference a few hours later, Biden called Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”

On Friday morning, Biden’s largest super PAC announced it had frozen $90 million while Joe remains at the top of the ticket, according to the New York Times.

So far, seventeen elected Democrats have called on Biden to cede the nomination. At least half a dozen more are said to be preparing to join that call.

Nancy Pelosi has signaled that she agrees. Former President Barack Obama is said to agree; among other indicators, he gave the thumbs down to George Clooney’s scathing New York Times op-ed calling for Biden to step down.

All of which brings us to the only real question: If Joe Biden, ailing and reeling at 81, is unfit to run for office, how can he spend another minute as president?

For anyone who thinks sentiment is driven by partisanship, listen to the Democrats themselves.

“I doubt he will be the one making important decisions about our country,” Washington state Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez wrote Thursday.

How is this not a five-alarm fire?

Here’s just one shattered thought from Biden last night: “I was told not to go to Europe, I mean, Asia, including Europe, but Asia.”

Another: ‘Our army is working… I am following the advice of my commander in chief’

Joe Biden, as president, is the commander in chief.

Ukraine is fighting for its existence, as is Israel. World leaders gathered at the G7 (the same ones Biden hosted this week) have reportedly expressed deep concern about the president’s cognitive decline.

We learned a few days ago that a Parkinson’s specialist was in the White House at least eight times in eight months between last summer and late spring.

As of last night, Biden had not held a press conference in roughly the same span: eight months.

This is inexcusable. As that fateful debate demonstrated, we all now know why: The media, in cahoots with Biden’s staff and party leaders, hoped to keep Biden and his critical status under wraps until Election Day.

Everyone knew it. Everyone has blood on their hands.

This is a Watergate-level scandal. We have a sitting president who is incapable of doing his job. But many in the media cannot admit this, because to do so would expose them as the glorified White House stenographers they have become.

So instead they turn around after the debate and express shock—shock!—at the president’s decompensation while admitting, seemingly with little self-awareness, that they’ve been aware of this crisis for quite some time.

NBC News chief political analyst Chuck Todd revealed Wednesday that a top Biden Cabinet secretary told him the president “can’t run like this again” two years ago.

Olivia Nuzzi, Washington correspondent for New York magazine, wrote after the debate that she had been hearing about the president’s steep decline for at least the past six months. She and her colleagues, she wrote, shared the same reaction to Biden at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April:

Nancy Pelosi has signaled that she agrees. Former President Barack Obama is said to agree; among other indicators, he gave the thumbs down to George Clooney’s scathing New York Times op-ed calling for Biden to step down.

‘The group of journalists, not instigated by me, I should note, made guesses about the percentage of deaths that seemed to be there. “Forty percent?” asked one of them.

Biden used the word “on the move” a lot in his remarks about NATO, as if he had been advised to subliminally ask us to see him as someone active.

He also got quiet a lot, using the word “anyway…” at least nine times before abandoning a train of thought.

He used his infamous cheat sheet to call reporters he’s known for years, slurred his words, and responded with a long-winded rant about the economy when asked about repeated calls from Democrats to abandon the campaign. He mentioned China and the spy balloon (there was more than one, but who cares about the details?) before reassuring us that all is well, even though he reportedly would rather go to bed at 8 p.m. and can only work six hours a day.

As his own press secretary said, if there is an emergency call in the middle of the night, Biden’s staff lets him sleep.

Eliminate this man, now.

He can’t be too dangerous to compete against Trump, but he can be safe enough to rule the world. It seems obvious, except for one annoying fact: nobody says it.

Perhaps because it raises very uncomfortable questions, such as: Who really governs the country?

Is this Dr. Jill, who we now know was present at high-level meetings in the Oval Office?

Could it be Hunter, the once drug-addicted and unscrupulous son who has relied on his father’s power for his own personal wealth and who may very well need a presidential pardon to avoid prison time?

And what about Kamala Harris, Biden’s current vice president, who, upon Biden’s impeachment, would become America’s first black female president? Isn’t that the kind of DEI distinction Democrats would otherwise enjoy? What do they know that we don’t? Or is it due to Jill’s personal grudge, as DailyMail.com exclusively reported?

If it is the latter, the president’s removal becomes even more urgent. The Bidens clearly care about one thing and one thing only: clinging to power at all costs, regardless of national security.

It is time to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution and remove the president from office. There are three ways to do this.

Biden could resign with a written statement declaring he is “unfit to discharge the power and duties of his office.” Or he could step aside “temporarily” and make Harris acting president. If he refuses to do either, the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet could declare him unfit, and if he continues to refuse to leave, he could be removed by a two-thirds vote in both houses of Congress.

If Democrats are true patriots, now is the time to seize on this threat: leave with dignity or we will force you out and ruin your legacy.

We are post-Orwellians. This distorted reality field only serves to make America and the world a much more dangerous place.

How can we be asked to sacrifice so much for one man’s ego?
