President Joe Biden is reportedly planning to unveil a dramatic overhaul of the Supreme Court next week in an attempt to overhaul the high court.

His amendment would come directly after the court ruled that presidents are protected from prosecution for official acts, in a case brought by Donald Trump.

Biden is said to be calling for reform during a trip to Texas, where he is scheduled to speak at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library in Austin.

The White House declined to comment, referring to comments earlier this week by its press secretary that she believes the Supreme Court should “abide by high ethics.”

After the court ruled on Trump’s immunity case, Biden called the decision “dangerous” and said it would embolden Trump if the Republican is re-elected.

He warned that the conservative-leaning court had “fundamentally changed” a bedrock principle of the nation.

Biden said: “This nation was founded on the principle that there are no kings in America.

‘Today’s decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits to what a president can do.

“This is a fundamentally new principle and sets a dangerous precedent. The only limits that the president will impose on himself.”

The court’s 6-3 ruling virtually ensured that Trump would not face another trial before the November election.

Biden called the decision a continuing “attack” on “a broad range of long-standing legal principles,” pointing to the overturning of Roe v. Wade and controversial decisions on civil and voting rights.

On Wednesday, during a speech in the Oval Office explaining his decision to drop his bid for a second term, he added: “I’m going to call for Supreme Court reform, because it’s fundamental to our democracy.”

Term limits and an ethics code would likely require legislation, and the currently divided Congress is not expected to take up the issue before the end of the year.

This comes as Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito have come under fire for their own personal affairs.

Thomas had not disclosed the lavish gifts and trips he had received from a billionaire developer.

Major Republican donor Harlan Crow paid for trips to Indonesia and a quiet retreat in upstate New York for Thomas and his wife Virginia, better known as “Ginni.”

Meanwhile, Alito’s wife waved flags outside their homes that have been associated with the events of January 6.

Judicial experts said the flag outside Alito’s home clearly violates ethics rules designed to avoid even the appearance of bias.

At the time the flag was raised, the court was still considering whether to accept cases related to the 2020 election.
