A major Joe Biden donor slammed three of the president’s most trusted advisers after the president’s horror show at the first debate in Atlanta on Thursday night.

The Biden family gathered at Camp David this weekend for a summit to discuss their patriarch’s political future as he falls further behind in the polls.
While the family remains united in its “unequivocal support” for the president – with his troubled son Hunter being the most insistent that he stay in the race – others are wondering about the team that prepared Biden for the debate.
Another critic of some of Biden’s trusted advisers is John Morgan, a major Democratic donor and ally of Biden’s younger brother, Frank.

Morgan denounced those he said were “scammers,” including former White House chief of staff Ron Klain, senior White House adviser Anita Dunn and Biden’s personal lawyer Bob Bauer, who is Dunn’s husband.
“Biden’s advisors failed him,” he wrote on social media, referring to how the Biden team chose the debate format.
“The format was a disaster for him and an advantage for Trump. He practiced too much and was exhausted… who wouldn’t be?” he added.
He then specifically criticized Dunn and Bauer for leading the president astray.
“For too long Biden has been fooled by the courage of Anita Dunn and her husband. They need to go… TODAY. The scam is serious. This was political malpractice.”
In an interview with the New York Times seeking clarification, Morgan did not mince his words.
“It would be like if you took a boxer who was going to have a title fight and put him in a sauna for 15 hours and then told him, ‘Go fight,'” he said.
‘I think the debate is solely about Ron Klain, Bob Bauer and Anita Dunn.’
Morgan criticized those he considered “con artists” such as former White House chief of staff Ron Klain (pictured).
White House senior adviser Anita Dunn also came under fire, saying Biden has been “fooled by Anita Dunn’s courage” for too long.
Biden’s family also reportedly criticized the trio and asked what had happened at debate rehearsals, where Bauer stood in for Trump.
Klain, who was in charge of Biden’s preparations, was asked why they “overloaded” Biden with statistics and allowed Biden to enter the race looking “pale.”
However, sources cited by the Times said Biden himself was not angry with any of them and still trusted the trio.
Despite mounting pressure from Democrats to consider his political future after a disastrous debate, Joe Biden appears to be holding firm in the race with Jill Biden stubbornly at his side.
And her actions over the past 48 hours make it clear that she is the one firmly pulling the strings on her husband’s decision to stay in the race.
She made clear when speaking to wealthy donors in New York on Friday night that she knew how the debate was perceived, but said she told her husband the campaign would continue.
The performance on CNN, in which Joe Biden rambled between answers and lost his train of thought, unleashed unprecedented panic in the party.
Top lawmakers and agents immediately considered their options.
Biden’s family also reportedly criticized the trio and asked what had happened at debate rehearsals, where Dunn’s husband and Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer (pictured) was a surrogate for Trump.
But when Biden attended a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday, he seemed like a different man. Jill Biden called it an “amazing” event.
During it, he admitted that his performance in the debate was not ideal, but insisted that he will stay in the race. A crowd of more than 2,000 applauded him.
His defiant announcement came alongside the only person likely to stand between him and a potentially historic decision to step aside: his wife Jill.
Even though she knows he had a bad night in the first presidential debate, she stands by her husband and fights fears that he will lose the November race to Donald Trump.
The Bidens know she “didn’t have the best first debate,” a source close to her told DailyMail.com. ‘Is she the best person to be president, now and for the next four years? 100% yes.’
She is his wife of 47 years; she is his biggest supporter, his biggest supporter and his biggest believer.’
President Biden is assured of the nomination. The only way for the party to have a different candidate is for him to voluntarily drop out of the race.
However, it appears the president is fighting an uphill battle after Thursday’s debacle.
A poll released Sunday found that 72 percent of voters do not believe Biden has the cognitive faculties for another term. This is a seven percent increase from the same poll conducted in early June before the debate.
Klain, who was in charge of Biden’s preparations, was questioned why they ‘overloaded’ Biden with statistics and allowed Biden to enter the race looking ‘pale.’
Former White House physician Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) has repeatedly questioned Biden’s physical and cognitive health.
He suggested that debate preparation for seven days at Camp David was a way to prepare the drug cocktail just before the confrontation with Trump.
Doubts mounted from before the debate to after the debate about Biden’s mental acuity and cognitive health.
Biden stumbled his way through the debate with Trump on Thursday, often speaking quietly, mumbling or losing his train of thought. When Trump was speaking, the split screen showed the president with his mouth slightly open and his gaze vacant.
The result resulted in a chorus of calls for Biden to end his candidacy, even from some of his biggest supporters.
Trump’s performance in the debate, on the other hand, has only increased his party’s support.
Fifty percent of registered voters believe the 78-year-old has the cognitive faculties to run for a second term in 2024; only 27 percent feel the same about Biden.
It’s unclear what happens next, but Biden will spend Sunday at Camp David, where he will discuss the future of this race with his family.
Some blame first lady Jill Biden for forcing her husband to continue campaigning for re-election, and Republican Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wy.) accused the first lady of “elder abuse.”
