Biden cheers U.S. win over Iran and tells Michigan in World Cup

They did it, god bless them! Biden grabs a microphone during rallies and jumps onto the stage to say “USA 1, Iran 0. We won! After learning that the men’s national team had passed – and after revealing their message to players, they said “you can do it!”

After his Tuesday speech, President Joe Biden broadcast the U.S.’s victory over Iran to a Michigan crowd. World Cup match – leading a crowd in chants of U.S.A.!

The president just finished his remarks in Bay City Michigan that focused on the economy and gas prices as well as foreign investment in chip production. He When an aide arrived to announce the news, I was happy to hand it to crowd members to the tune of “Stars and Stripes Forever”.

That prompted Biden to retake the stage and announce the development – withe the U.S. team advancing to the critical round of 16. 

‘U.S. 1, Iran 0,’ Biden stated, after the U.S. team had defeated Iran in the first quarter.

“Hey, Hey! USA. USA!’ USA!’, exclaimed the president. 

They did it! God bless them,” President Joe Biden declared at an event in Bay City (Michigan) as the U.S. Men’s Soccer team advanced in the World Cup

He grinned and said, “That’s quite a big game man!” 

“I spoke to the coach, and the players. I told them you could do it. They said “Ahh!”, suggesting that the U.S. team was unsure about facing Iran, the Asia’s top-ranked team.  

“They did it!” Biden declared, “God loves them!” ‘Anyway, just thought you might want to hear,’ he said, quickly exiting the stage – after photographers traveling with him captured the unusual appearance.

 Biden didn’t speak about the heavy politics of the match. Iran has been subject to protests after Mahsa, 22, was killed in police custody. He was also taken into custody by the’morality cops’ who enforce dress code and other matters.

The White House, as well as the Biden administration, have repeatedly expressed support for Iranian citizens who protested on the streets in demand of greater freedoms.

Since 1979 Iranian revolution, tensions between the U.S. & Iran have been high. Talks on the Iran nuclear deal are currently frozen. Iran’s leaders have tried for decades to portray the U.S. as a ‘great Satan’. 

White House support was also available to the first fan, even though most of the match occurred while Air Force One flew from Michigan and Biden spoke.

The episode came at an event where Biden talked up the economy and investments by The South Korean company SK Siltron.

“Thank God, inflation in grocery stores is starting to slow. Prices for items such as clothes, televisions, and appliances are dropping. Biden said that this is good news for the holiday season. 

Biden stated that America was built by the middle class and unions created it. He made this statement after he decided to pursue legislation to impose a contract to end a strike threatened by rail union workers, which could have a negative impact on the economy.
