President Joe Biden was seen struggling with sand near his Delaware home over the weekend while first lady Jill Biden was criticized for not helping him.
The 81-year-old man was seen struggling to navigate the Gordons Pond Trail in Rehoboth Beach, near his home, on Sunday while hiking.
Biden nearly fell on his face as he shuffled nervously over the dangerous terrain and seemed to almost lose his balance completely, while his wife held her ground.
Nearby reporters who recorded the scene could be heard gasping as he stumbled across the sand, apparently anticipating he was going to fall.
Social media users have since criticized Jill Biden for apparently not offering help to her husband.

It comes after Biden announced he would host President-elect Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday.
Their meeting will be the first time the two have met since Biden’s disastrous performance in the June debate, which saw him withdraw from the election.
Such a meeting is traditional between outgoing and incoming presidents, but Trump did not host his successor after the 2020 election.
Biden said Wednesday that he had spoken with Trump to congratulate him and “expressed his commitment to ensuring a smooth transition.”
Asked over the weekend whether Trump was a threat to democracy, Biden told reporters: “I’ll see him on Wednesday.”
Social media users have since criticized Jill Biden for seemingly not offering a hand to her husband.
Biden also called Kamala Harris after her election loss and reportedly congratulated her on a “historic campaign.”

When Biden emerged from the White House to acknowledge Trump’s landslide victory, many noted how he appeared with a big smile and seemed calm despite the defeat.
In his speech, he promised to work with Donald Trump to ensure a peaceful transition and urged the country to unite as he broke his silence on the election.
‘I will do my duty as president. I will uphold my oath and honor the Constitution. “On January 20, we will have a peaceful transfer of power here in the United States,” Biden said.
