Their luxurious getaway comes after Ioan’s bitter war with ex-wife Alice Evans took a bizarre turn when she accused him of “fraternizing” with a female lawyer during a Los Angeles court appearance.
It all started when Alice was temporarily thrown out of the courtroom on September 9 for taking photographs inside, apparently of Ioan, which is strictly against court rules and could have landed her with a contempt charge.
But Alice insists in new court documents found by DailyMail.com that she wasn’t taking photos of her ex, but rather photographing a lawyer in court named Andrea Burkhart.
He claims that Andrea “has been fraternizing” with Ioan, “has said horrible things about me” and “refers to me as ‘Malice’ instead of ‘Alice’ in his Twitter posts.”
“I turned around and saw her (Andrea) and Gruffudd talking, smiling and laughing,” he said. “This was very concerning to me because it appears that Gruffudd is assisting Ms. Burkhart in making disparaging statements about me on her social media.”
In her new court filing, Alice includes a photo of Andrea outside the Los Angeles courthouse and lists several online posts by Andrea that criticize her and support Ioan’s claim that Alice’s claims about being penniless and not being able to support her two young daughters are false.

She then wowed in a turquoise bikini that flaunted her toned figure.
“Alice is simply lying about her financial situation,” Andrea wrote in an August 2024 post.
“Malice’s own financial disclosures have been, shall we say, opaque,” he wrote in a post in July of this year.
Andrea’s follow-up to Ioan and Alice’s messy split has evidently been going on for a while, since she posted in April 2023: “She (Alice) has been found to have committed domestic abuse.”
Still, it’s unclear what their interest or involvement in this celebrity breakup is about, other than a YouTube post that says, “I provide commentary and analysis of high-profile cases based on my nearly two decades of experience as defense attorney…”
Ioan and Alice formally divorced in July last year. But they are still fighting fiercely for spousal support, custody and financial support for their two daughters, Ella and Elsie.
At the court hearing on September 9, Judge Josh Freeman Stinn signed a stipulated agreement in which Ioan pays $3,000 a month in temporary child support and $1,500 a month in temporary spousal support until another hearing on February 13, where he will be forged a more permanent support agreement.
Andrea plans to call Bianca as a witness at the February hearing to testify that Alice ‘harassed, harassed and abused’ her, repeatedly violating a three-year domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) that she and Ioan took out in August 2022, after enduring a ‘smear campaign’ of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts on his part.
Ioan claims that Alice is “engaged in a pattern of harmful and defamatory conduct against me, the aim of which is to intimidate and harass me and my fiancée, Bianca Wallace, while keeping our two young children away from me.”

Ioan is expected to call his fiancée Bianca Wallace to testify in court against Evans, who they claim “harassed, harassed and abused” her in violation of a restraining order.
Ioan, whose latest film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, has grossed more than $403 million worldwide, has fought Alice’s demands for more money, claiming he has paid about $400,000 more in spousal support than he normally did. that he needed according to his prenuptial agreement.
In previous court papers, she called her claims of poverty “exaggerated” and said it is a “false narrative” that she and her children have been left destitute.
The former couple met on the set of the movie 102 Dalmatians more than 20 years ago. They fell in love in real life and married in Mexico in 2007.
Ioan filed for divorce in March 2021, shortly after Alice announced on social media that her husband of 14 years was abandoning her and their two daughters.
