Bianca Lapus expressed her deep sadness after suffering a pregnancy loss on September 19, the same day her father Zoilo Lapus passed away.

The actress-producer made the announcement via her Facebook page on Wednesday, September 20, as she thanked those who reached out to her and offered their prayers.

“I’m sorry I haven’t really been active on social media because I’ve been focusing on my health and pregnancy,” she began, sharing her brother’s post about the details of their father’s wake. However, the message appears to have been deleted.

“Yesterday was a sad and heartbreaking day. I lost both my baby (and) my father,” Bianca continued. “Thank you for all the prayers during this difficult time.”

Bianca also wrote an open letter to her father in a separate post, admitting she was ‘still at a loss for words’.

“Hi Dadiyo, I still can’t believe you’re gone. “I am forever grateful to God for blessing me with a father like you,” she said. “Rest in peace to our creator along with my unborn baby Z. I love you both.”

Fans and friends expressed their condolences to Bianca and her family via the comments section.

Bianca has three sons, namely Elijah, Exequiel and Ethan, with her non-showbiz husband Jimmy Valesquez. Her eldest child, Isaiah, is her son from her previous marriage to “It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro. /ra
