This comes just nine months after Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson called for ‘major changes’ to be made after his figure was put on display there in October 2023.

The 52-year-old actor took to social media to reveal he would be contacting the Grévin Museum in Paris after the controversial wax figure was heavily criticised by fans.

Dwayne and his fans have commented on the wax figure’s seemingly lighter skin tone, with the star saying he will be asking for the skin color to be “updated.”

Now, less than a year later, Beyoncé fans are saying the same thing about her new wax figure.

The wax version of the Texas Hold ‘Em singer wears a silver sequined dress with a plunging neckline, a long cape and silver heels.

The statue of Beyoncé, whose real name is Giselle Knowles-Carter, faces one side with one arm behind her head and the other placed on her crossed legs.

While the figure bears many glamorous similarities to the star, there has been a lot of backlash on social media over certain features, including her skin color.

‘For the record, I’m going to ask my team to get in touch with our friends at the Grevin Museum in Paris, France, so we can work on ‘updating’ my wax figure with some important details and improvements, starting with my skin color.’

“And next time I’m in Paris, I’ll stop by for a drink with myself,” he concluded, adding a winking emoji.

The post, which received more than 150,000 likes, saw fans express their disappointment and confusion over the wax figure.

The Grévin Museum has already unveiled the updated figure, which is open to the public. The Rock has not yet commented on the changes.
