Billionaire power couple Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) have reportedly decided to keep the $88 million Bel-Air estate they bought in 2017, despite just getting $200 million had thrown for California’s most expensive home in Malibu.

The Houston-born 41-year-old and Brooklyn-born 53-year-old still consider their Bel-Air residence “home” because it’s closer to friends and their three children’s schools, and Malibu will serve as their “weekend home.” until they transition full-time — according to TMZ.

On June 13, Bey and Jay — who also own a $26 million, seven-bedroom mansion in East Hampton — celebrate the sixth birthday of their fraternal twins, son Sir Carter and daughter Rumi Carter.

The married couple of 15 years are also parents to 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who famously won a Grammy Award in 2021 for co-producing Knowles’ Brown Skin Girl music video.

Developed by Dean McKillen, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s luxurious contemporary Bel-Air mansion consists of six different structures.

The over-the-top gated property features four outdoor pools, a spa, wellness center, media room, multiple outdoor entertainment areas, a 15-car garage, full-sized basketball court, and staff quarters.

The seaside estate of hitmaker Break My Soul and rap mogul Roc Nation is located on an eight-acre bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in the Paradise Cove area nicknamed Billionaires’ Row.

Despite paying the lavish price, the talented twosome actually landed a deal on the home, which was first listed for a hefty $295 million.

The expansive backyard features a pool and ends with a bluff that overlooks the beach.

Built with high concrete walls and offering plenty of space, the home was designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, ​​who also works on disgraced rapper Kanye West’s Malibu home.

Ando is a Pritzker Prize winner known for his unique concrete structures in Asia, Europe and North America.

The minimalist modern home was originally built and owned by William Bell, a famous art collector, who bought the property in 2003 for $14.5 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Bell spent nearly 15 years building the home’s concrete structure.

The oceanfront home never even made it to the market and was only shown to a select group of buyers, according to the publication.

Westside Estate Agency’s Kurt Rappaport reportedly handled the record-breaking deal.
