Let me in! Bewildered Border Terrier Cookie waits patiently outside until he finally realizes the glass door is OPEN

  • Sarah Watson, 25, from Scotland, shared video of deaf dog Cookie on Monday
  • He sits outside the open glass door believing the sliding door is closed
  • Cookie eventually tumbles inside when he leans on the glass and falls into it erin

This is when an elderly Border Terrier waits patiently outside an open glass door—until he finally realizes the entrance is open when he tumbles in.

The clip, posted on TikTok Monday, captures Cookie sitting outside an open sliding glass door — which the confused dog thinks is closed.

He squints at owner Sarah Watson, 25, as he raises a paw to get attention, before invading the house when he leans on the non-existent glass.

Cookie, 15, finally enters the property after being cheered on by those watching, who go to greet the bewildered Border Terrier at his grand entrance.

Others admitted they felt bad for laughing at the confused dog, who Ms Watson says is deaf. She explained in a reply that she communicates with Cookie using gestures.

Commenting on the short clip, one commenter said, “That’s a dog that has run into a glass door way too many times.”

Another added: “I don’t blame him, I couldn’t say it for a second.”

A third said, “Omg the way he scratched the invisible door too.”
