Speaking to the publication, a source said, “Although booking hasn’t been easy, due to busy schedules and the last-minute nature of the party, the bosses are quietly confident that a very special event is approaching.

So far, pop giants Ed Sheeran, Adele, Sir Elton John and Harry Styles have politely declined the chance to perform live at Windsor Castle on May 7, the day after King Charles’ official coronation at Westminster Abbey.
Undoubtedly, it’s a bitter blow to the royal, who is said to have personally asked Adele and Sheeran, only to schedule issues that hinder their chances of making history.
In fact, Sheeran — who wrapped up the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee pageant this past June — will be performing in Texas the day before Charles’s coronation.
It is also believed that Adele is not attending for less public reasons, despite her lucrative Las Vegas residency ending on March 25.
Meanwhile, Styles — another Charles favorite — is in the midst of his worldwide promotional Love On Tour, though his schedule is clear from March 26 through May 13, when he’s performing in Denmark.
Sir Elton John, a close friend of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, also turned down the opportunity to appear on stage at Windsor Castle.
Leading the Way: Take That is understood to have been headlining the show, as former member Jason Orange was rumored to be returning to the band for the historic occasion.

Elsewhere, the BBC launched an X Factor-style talent search to find singers for the coronation choir.
All types of singers, from novice beatboxers to professional jazz artists, are encouraged to apply for the choir.
Agencies working on behalf of BBC Studios have been asked to invite audience submissions, and participants will be filmed on a TV show documenting their attempt to perform for King.
Interested candidates are required to submit video clips that will be curated by BBC Studios and broadcast on television as part of the channel’s coverage.
