Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel called a popular sleeping drug “the devil” after sharing her experience taking it.
The Skinnygirl mogul, 54, took to TikTok this week to open up about what she says happened to her after taking Ambien, also known as zolpidem.
The medication is often used to treat insomnia and is prescribed by a doctor, according to Cleveland Clinic.
It is supposed to help you fall asleep quickly and stay asleep throughout the night, and it has been Approved by the FDA since 1992.
However, Frankel claimed that when he took it, he experienced some adverse side effects and called the drug “trash” and “the devil.”

Frankel noted that he had heard stories about people doing crazy things while taking the drug, but said that from a physical standpoint, it makes you feel like “trash.”
“No one should prescribe that,” he concluded boldly.
