Bethany Joy Lenz said she was put on a “sexual schedule” when she was married to the son of a “cult” leader.
The actress, 43, opened up about being married to a man, whom she referred to as QB, while she was in the ‘Big House Family,’ which she called a ‘high control group.’
On Wednesday’s episode of calls his daddyLenz explained that he felt like he had “married the wrong person” during the time he became involved with a “cult” for 10 years in the early 2000s.
And because of intimacy issues in their marriage, she and QB were “asked” to develop a “sexual schedule.”
The One Tree Hill alum, who also addressed the “feud” between her and her former co-star, Hilarie Burton Morgan, on the podcast, said her relationship with QB was “fun and easy” at first.

On Wednesday’s episode of Call Her Daddy, Lenz explained that he felt like he had “married the wrong person” during the time he became involved with a “cult” for 10 years in the early 2000s.
However, over time, he realized that “they didn’t have much in common.”
“There wasn’t much intellectual stimulation,” he admitted. But I was out of options. For example, I couldn’t date anyone who wasn’t a Christian, and I couldn’t really date anyone outside the group.’
In the end, she said her marriage to QB became “this kind of arranged situation.”
Despite having a “crazy sexual desire,” he recalled that he had booked himself into marriage after being “promised” it would be better; However, he said it was “a lot of nonsense.”
“I thought if I saved myself for marriage, then the promise would be amazing sex and super deep intimacy, and nothing will be as good and it will just be the best thing ever,” she said.
“Then we have sex and we think, ‘Why do I feel so sad? I don’t feel more connected to you. I feel further away from you.”
Lenz recalled: “Because I wasn’t that interested in sex, they asked me to follow a schedule.
‘Basically (they) said, ‘You just have to do it.’ Do it. This is your duty. This is your job as a wife. Your emotions will align. If you do it enough, eventually you will find a way to enjoy it.”

Lenz added: “I had a lot of PTSD from showing up at the airport to see him knowing that I was going to have to start this sexual program for the next two weeks or three weeks or whatever.”
And although her marriage eventually ended, she said she still feels empathy for her ex.
